American Eagle Auction & Appraisal Company, LLC is a full-time and full-service auction and appraisal company specializing in converting your assets to cash within a short period through a competitive auction sale.

With over two decades of sole proprietorship in the sales, auction, marketing, and event promotions industry, company founder and certified real estate and personal property auctioneer and appraiser Kenny Lindsay, CAI, CMA, delivers a wealth of experience and reputation to the skilled trade of professional auctioneers.

Lindsay graduated at the top of his class at the Continental School of Auctioneering in Mankato, Minnesota, with three certifications as a professional auctioneer, real estate auction specialist, and personal property appraiser. In 2008, Lindsay attended Indiana University for a three-year program with the Certified Auctioneers Institute, becoming one of approximately 1,000 auctioneers worldwide to achieve the CAI designation, the highest possible accreditation in the auction industry.

Lindsay, an insightful and engaging speaker, auction school instructor, and author, has helped some of the world's leading and upcoming professional auctioneers. His articles have regularly appeared in industry publications throughout North America. He has presented at numerous industry events, including two appearances at the National Auctioneers Association annual conferences. In 2006, William L. Sheridan appointed Lindsay to his national Presidential Advisory Committee.

American Eagle Auction & Appraisal Company has sold several world-renowned collections, museums, and celebrity estates at auction. For over a decade, his company has represented numerous Once-in-a-Lifetime collections at The Super Auction in Ann Arbor, and Tipton, Michigan. The Super Auction is arguably the most popular collectible auction in the Midwest.

Additionally, his company has successfully sold numerous commercial and industrial businesses, restaurants, gyms, spas, and extensive manufacturing facilities and real estate throughout Michigan.  In 2022, Lindsay was chosen to sell the highly prestigious City of Dearborn vehicle and assets auction.

An astute marketer, Lindsay has generated press on the international level and is regularly recognized by his peers for his out-of-the-box style of auction marketing. The company has won over 90 advertising and marketing awards, including Auction-of-year. 

 In 2014,  Lindsay created a grassroots marketing movement called 'Auctions Work!' that promotes the effectiveness of auctions. The campaign was later adopted by the National Auctioneers Association and used by thousands of auctioneers in their marketing material. Lindsviralliral campaign was a feature story in USA Today that said in part, "Succinct and powerful, the message's staying power has been evident from the outset."

Lindsay is one of 24 Certified Michigan Auctioneers. In 2022, Lindsay was inducted into the MAA Hall of Fame. Lindsay is the 42nd inductee to receive the industry's highest honor since the organization was founded in 1951. Lindsay is one of only 28 professional auctioneers in Michigan that retains the Certified Michigan Auctioneer designation.  In 2023, his company won 6 Marketing awards, including the coveted Auction-of-the-Year Award.
