All items are sold as-is, where-is. A 15% Buyers Premium is applied to each item. All bidders are required to register for a bidder number in order to bid in Alderfer Online Auctions. Bidders are required to provide a credit card number at the time of registration which will be charged for all winning bids at the conclusion of the auction. Accepted credit cards include VISA and MasterCard. Once the auction closing time goes into effect the items close at a rate of 5 lots per minute in sequential order unless there is active bidding within the final 3 minutes of the auction and the auto-extended feature is activated. The auto-extend feature will be activated in the case of bids placed in the last 3 minutes prior to the closing of each lot. This prohibits all sniping software and activity. It is necessary to constantly refresh your browser during the last few minutes of the sale so that you are aware of any lot time extensions, as well as during the time extensions as they will continue to extend in 3 minute intervals until competitive bidding ends. It is recommended that customers use the maximum bid option to avoid confusion at the close of the sale, however, if two customers place the same maximum amount, the computer will automatically take the first one placed. *By placing bids you are acknowledging agreement with Alderfer Auction terms and conditions included herein and elsewhere on our website. Some items, due to their size or weight, may not be eligible for delivery. We cannot offer delivery on the same day as pick up. Items will be brought back to Alderfer Auction and delivered on a future business day.

  • Single Item Requiring Minimal to no Packing: $10
  • One Packed Box: $15
  • Furniture: $25 - $100+ Depending on Size of Item
  • Large Groupings of Closet Items, China, Glassware, Books, Tools, Etc. are charged according to quantity and time taken to pack and remove items. Prices will vary.

Please call us to arrange these services no later than 24 hours prior to the auction pick-up time so that our staff is prepared with the proper vehicle and supplies needed to pack and transport your purchases. Requests made after staff is on site may not be honored.

If the items have not been removed from Alderfer's two weeks following the auction pick up day, they will be considered abandoned and the purchase price will not be refunded to the buyer.
