Bid now through Tuesday, February 4th at alderferauction.com. This auction will begin closing at 10AM at a rate of 2 lots per minute. Active bidding will be auto-extended 30 seconds for each lot once it begins to close.

 

In American coinage, the auction features a Standing Liberty Quarter 1917-S T2, AU, 1888 AU and 1899 AU+ Morgan Silver Dollars,1932-D Washington Quarter in About Uncirculated grade, which stands as one of the key dates from the series. The Morgan Dollar offerings include an 1889-CC graded Fine and an 1880-CC in Brilliant Uncirculated condition, housed in its original Government Services Administration (GSA) holder with case, Bust and Seated Quarters, Peace Dollars, Indian Cents. The paper currency section contains a $10 National Bank Note from Quakertown, Pennsylvania dated 1929 in Very Fine condition.

 

The British numismatic portion comprises multiple proof and uncirculated sets from the 1980s. These include two 1984 United Kingdom proof sets and one from 1987, alongside two 1984 uncirculated coin collections and a 1987 uncirculated set. The auction also features three 1986 silver proof one-pound coins and a 1995 United Kingdom Second World War commemorative two-pound piece in uncirculated condition.

 

The commemorative section includes several notable pieces. A Royal Mint College of Arms Quincentenary Medal highlights this portion, accompanied by two medals from 1966 marking Prince Philip's visit to North America. A 1986 First Day Cover containing a two-pound coin rounds out the British offerings. Each item in the auction retains its original mint packaging where applicable, maintaining the integrity of these numismatic pieces.
