For those interested in unique or vintage pieces, the highlight of the auction is an 1897 Martin “Bowl Back” Style 5 with supporting provenance and documentation showing this is the FIRST of this model ever made. The serial number dates it to one year before it appears in the Martin catalog. A MUST for any serious collector of Martin history!!. The auction also offers several noteworthy items. A 1950s Mario Maccaferri guitar made from Dow Styron plastic showcases innovative design, while a 1960s Gibson Hawk tube amplifier represents a piece of music history. Classical music aficionados will appreciate the selection of violins, including models labeled after famous makers like Josef Guarnerius and Caspar da Salo.

The auction also caters to brass and woodwind players, featuring instruments like a King Flair trumpet in silver plate and a rare Vincent Bach long bell trumpet from Mount Vernon, NY. A Walter E. Sear tuba from the 1970s, likely built by Cerveny or Amati in Czechoslovakia, offers a unique opportunity for low brass enthusiasts.

Audio professionals and home recording enthusiasts will find a range of equipment, from vintage to modern. A Tascam MS-16 tape recording deck represents the analog era, while digital interfaces like the Presonus Firestudio Project cater to contemporary needs. Amplification options include both solid-state and tube designs, such as the Mesa Boogie Mark IIB and Fender Blues Deluxe.

Electronic music producers and performers haven't been forgotten, with offerings like the Yamaha DX21 synthesizer from 1985 and a Roland electronic drum set featuring the TD12 percussion sound module. For live sound reinforcement, the auction includes PA speakers, mixers, and related accessories.
