Because we do not have storage space in our store, all orders that and are not picked up by 2PM the Saturday following the auction will have a $5 minimum storage handling fee added to their order. If you have over 5 items, it will be $1 an item. This fee will be added to your order before the charge is made. (This excludes orders that require shipping) All orders are to be paid for by 2PM Saturday. We will charge your card at 2PM, including storage handling fees. If you card does not go through, your items may be lost to be reauctioned off or awarded to the next highest bidder. If you pay cash after 2PM Saturday, no buyer's fee discount is given. If your items are not picked up 14 days from the close of the auction all items on the invoice will be either donated or relisted at our discretion. No addditional warning will be given. If the item is relisted, it will be done in your name. No refunds given on loss of resale or donation given. All consignor fees and terms are agreed to by you with the agreement of these terms. Items must be paid and picked up by close of business on the Saturday following the close of the auction. If items are not picked up by COB on Saturday, your card on file will be charged. If for any reason you cannot pick up your items by Saturday, please contact us to make arrangements. If arrangements are made, your credit card will be charged, and you may be charged storage fees, but you will not loose your items. Shipping is availbable for most items. It is your responsibility to ensure the item is marked for shipping. If you bid on an item that is not marked for shipping, you are responsible for the cost of the item. You will have to arrange your own shipping, donate or relist the item. If we do end up shipping the item, a $20 surcharge in addition to all shipping charges will be added per item. Contact us prior to bidding for estimated shipping costs. Handling fees are added to all shipping on orders. Because of the extra packing needed, dish sets and items requiring extra packing will have additional fees added. Looking at the holidays and observances this week, I chose to celebrate the badger. Here are some interesting facts about badgers found online followed by a list of other holidays and observances celebrated this week. 1. There are 11 species of badger and they are grouped into 3 different types. The first is the Melinae, or the Eurasian badgers. The second is the Mellivorinae, or the Honey badger. The third is the Taxideinae, or the American badger. 2. Badgers are part of the Mustelidae family, which is the same family as ferrets, otters, polecats, weasels and wolverines. 3. Badgers are mainly nocturnal mammals, spending much of their day sleeping. 4. They can be found in North America, Ireland, Great Britain and most of Europe. There are also species in Japan, China, Indonesia and Malaysia. The Honey badger can be found in sub Saharan Africa, the Arabian Desert, India and Turkmenistan. 5. Badgers have an long head with small ears and black and white face, similar to a raccoon. Their body has grey fur with black and white areas underneath. 6. They have stocky bodies with short legs that are perfect for digging. They dig burrows deep underground, much like anteaters and armadillos. 7. These underground burrows are called setts. Their sett is often a maze of different tunnels and chambers. It�s also usually a home for about 6 badgers, and it�s kept very clean. 8. Badgers are known for growing up to a meter in length. However, the European badger is bigger than the American badger and the Honey badger. 9. The average weight for a badger is around 9 to 11 kilograms, or about 20 to 24 pounds. 10. They are also pretty quick. Badgers are known for short bursts of speed of up to 30 kilometers per hour, or 19 miles per hour.
