This is an internet only auction. All bidding is online. The bidding for this auction will close on Thursday, July 22nd, 2021 at 8:00pm. At 7:30pm a new, flashing button will appear allowing you to watch the auction close with a live countdown. Lots will close approximately every 20 seconds. This auction uses a soft close, which provides an authentic auction atmosphere. Items will remain open for bidding one minute after the latest bid. 2. A preview will be held on Saturday, July 10th, 2021 from 12pm - 3pm in Elizabethtown, PA. Please call our office at 717-879-0110 to schedule an appointment and receive directions. If you cannot attend the preview in person, there will be a live virtual tour on our YouTube Channel at 12pm. To receive a link to the virtual tour, please register for the auction and we will email you the direct link. 3. The winning bidder will be charged $1000 to the credit card they registered with. The remaining balance must be paid through wire transfer. Wiring instructions will be given to the winning bidder. 4. Vehicle transfer will be scheduled with the winning bidder and must be picked up by Thursday, July 29th. 5. Masks are to be worn at your discretion. 6. All items are offered and sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with all faults. We encourage you to come to the preview to see and inspect the items. 7. All descriptions are believed accurate but not warranted. Measurements are approximate. 8. NOTICE: H.K. Keller will not be able to hold any items for pick up beyond the stated times. Everything must be picked up by Thursday, July 29th, 2021. Buyer will be charged the full amount for items not picked up, and will forfeit their right and claim to the property. 9. By placing a bid, the bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them. 10. H.K. Keller reserves the right to reject any bid and/or bidder at our sole discretion. 11. This auction has a 15% buyer's premium and 6% PA sales tax. This means that a final bid of $100 plus the buyer's premium constitutes the total purchase price of $115 with sales tax of $6.90 for a total due of $121.90. 12. You will receive an invoice listing the items won within a few hours of the auction closing. If you do not receive an email with your invoice, please check your spam folder. Your credit card will automatically be charged unless prior arrangements have been made. If your card is declined, you will receive an unpaid invoice with instructions on how to make payment. Our office may contact you to make payment before the pickup. Cards accepted include MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover only. Vehicle purchasers will have their registered cards charged $1,000 and the remaining balance is to be paid by wire transfer. 13. By bidding in this auction, you are agreeing to all of the terms posted for this auction. 14. There are no shipping, transporting or packing services offered by H.K. Keller. 15. Declined credit cards can result in a buyer being banned from participating in future auctions. H.K. Keller is a member of the National and State Auctioneers Associations. This rare 1970 Plymouth Road Runner convertible is an original, matching numbers car. 50,897 Miles. VIN RM27V0G142836, 440 cubic inch engine with a 6 pack, 3 2-barrel carburetors, 4-speed transmission, Hurst pistol grip shifter, Dana 60 rear axle, air-grabber hood, original wheels, original interior panels and other parts are included as pictured. This car has been in the same family since new. Gary Espenshade of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania will be offering his 1970 Plymouth Road Runner Convertible for auction. While it has been his pride and joy for many years and carries sentimental value, he believes it is time to release it to a new owner. His brother purchased this incredible car brand new at a local Elizabethtown dealer in 1969 at 19 years of age and took tremendous pride in it and kept everything well cared for and documented. When the original owner passed away in 1994, his desire was that it stayed in the family so Gary purchased it. He has many great memories of driving it around town and revving the engine in the local railroad tunnel just to hear it rumble. He said it is a true pleasure to drive. In 2016, they had the engine totally redone along with an upgraded camshaft, a new clutch and pressure plate. The 2016 rebuild invoice is in the attached documents.
