Directions: From New Jersey Turnpike Exit 14, follow signs to Port Newark/North Area. Take right lane and, follow signs for Airport Traffic North Area. At the second traffic light make a right then a left onto Brewster Rd at the Next Traffic Light. Stay on Brewster Rd. pass P6 Economy Parking Lot, pass Buildings #80, #11 & #79 on left. Curves to the left and you will see “PA Police Impound Lot.” Arrow pointing right. Make right and follow Brewster Rd. to end. Free parking available.

THE PORT AUTHORITY OF NY & NJ WILL SELL AT PUBLIC AUCTION, ABANDONED/IMPOUND MOTOR VEHICLES OF WHICH IT HAS TAKEN POSSESSION. ALL MOTOR VEHICLES IN THIS AUCTION ARE PROPERTY OF THE PORT AUTHORITY AND WILL BE SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER, “AS IS AND WHERE IS”, WITHOUT RECOURSE AGAINST THE PORT AUTHORITY OR AUCTIONEER. ALL VEHICLES TO BE SOLD BY LOT NUMBER AND ARE SOLD AS FREE AND CLEAR OF ANY LIENS, ENCUMBERANCES OR SUMMONSES.  

ALL VEHICLES ARE SOLD WITH NJ DMV Form OS/SS-88.

ALL BIDDERS MUST REGISTER AND OBTAIN A BID NUMBER TO BID.

BIDDERS MUST PRESENT A VAILD DRIVERS LICENSE AT REGISTRATION.

MINIMUM BID $100.00

BIDS WILL BE DONE IN MINIMUM INCREMENTS OF $25.00

BIDDERS MUST BE EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE.

NO CHILDREN ALLOWED ON PREMISES

No Port Authority Property, Regardless of Value, May Be Sold, Or Otherwise Conveyed to Any Port Authority Employee or Relative (As Defined in AP 20‐1.13), And No Port Authority Employee Shall Knowingly Buy Any Property That at Any Time Belonged to The Port Authority.

All abandoned/impound vehicles are offered on an “AS IS AND WHERE IS” basis.  No warranties or guarantees are made.  Under no circumstances will a refund or adjustment be made because of vehicles not meeting the standard expected, nor will failure to inspect be considered grounds of claim.

No vehicles sold in lots.  All vehicles must be sold as individual items.

Lee M. Fox, LLC., in the best interest of The Port Authority of NY & NJ, reserves the right to reject any bid if such an action is deemed to be in the best interest of The Port Authority of NY & NJ.

PAYMENT:

$100.00 deposit is required to obtain a bidder’s number.  It is refundable on auction day if your bid is unsuccessful.  If your highest bid is accepted, then your deposit will go towards the payment of the vehicle that was purchased.  This deposit will no longer be refundable.  

All purchases must be Paid‐in‐Full at Time of Bid Acceptance. (Method of Payment – CASH OR OFFICIAL BANK CHECK ONLY payable to Lee M Fox LLC will be accepted as payment.) NO PERSONAL OR BUSINESS CHECKS ACCEPTED. NO CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED. NO EXCEPTIONS. 

SHOULD A DISPUTE ARISE REGARDING THE HIGHEST BID BETWEEN TWO OR MORE BIDDERS, THE

VEHICLE WILL BE PUT UP AGAIN IMMEDIATELY AND RESOLD.

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE AND BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO BID ON OR

PURCHASE A VEHICLE.  VEHICLES CANNOT BE DRIVEN WITHOUT THE PROPER REGISTRATION AND

LICENSE PLATES AS REQUIRED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES.  NO DEALER PLATES

ALLOWED.  ALL VEHICLES WILL BE TOWED OUT OF THE IMPOUND LOT.

LOCKSMITH SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE TO MAKE KEYS FOR YOUR VEHICLES.

VARIOUS VEHICLES IN THE CATALOG ARE MARKED AS HAVING KEYS.  YOU MAY PICK UP YOUR KEYS AFTER COMPLETING THE DOCUMENTATION PROCESS

In the event purchaser’s funds are not available at time of bid acceptance, vehicle will be Re‐Bid Immediately – NO EXCEPTIONS. 

HOURS OF OPERATION:

Day of sale until 2:00 p.m.  **NOTE:  If sale runs past 2:00 p.m., it will run to its conclusion and no vehicles or paperwork will be conveyed or released on that day.  This also applies to any equipment in auction.  Releases of vehicles and equipment will then commence on the following Monday through Friday from 8:00AM until 2:00PM, NO EXCEPTIONS. Vehicles and equipment not released on any of those days will be subject to storage charges.  Daily storage fee per vehicle is $30.00.

NO VEHICLES WILL BE RELEASED UNTIL THE END OF SALE.

ALL VEHICLES MUST BE REMOVED WITHIN FIVE (5) WORKING DAYS.  VEHICLES LEFT OVER THE TIME LIMIT WILL BE SUBJECT TO STORAGE CHARGES.  VEHICLES NOT REMOVED AFTER 10 DAYS WILL BE RETAINED AND SOLD AT A SUBSEQUENT AUCTION. 

TITLES:

Titles will be provided by The Port Authority Police Department (PAPD), Auto Recovery Unit, at the respective airport complex. Titles will be transferred at conclusion of sale if possible.  PLEASE NOTE:  The name you give is the way it will appear on the back of the certificate of ownership.  Make sure correct name is given.  NO ALTERATIONS. 

INSURANCE:

The Port Authority Police Department (PAPD) officials reserve the right to request proof of insurance before any purchased items are removed from auction property.
