This means the vehicle paperwork has to be completed with the registered bidder's name and address only. Dealers are exempt.

By order of the State of NJ, Lee Fox Auctions will conduct an auction for the sale of 119 vehicles that are no longer needed by the State.

Vehicles will include Fords, Chevys, Dodges, Cars, Vans, & Pickups.

ADDITIONAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Items are offered on an “as is, where is, and with all faults” basis. The items are offered with no guarantee, express or implied, including without limitation, the implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. 

Bidders are urged to physically inspect the items before bidding. This can be done the day before the sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and from 8 a.m. until sale time, which is normally 9 a.m. on the day of the sale. No returns or adjustments will be considered after award. 

All bidders are required to register with the auctioneer and obtain a bidder number prior to bidding. A driver's license or an official picture ID (military, federal, state, college, etc.) will be required as part of the registration process. Registration will commence at 8 a.m. on the day of auction.

Bidders must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. (Bidders who are under 18 years of age will not be considered for refund of deposit under any condition.) No children under the age of 18 years old are permitted at the auction or on the grounds, nor are they allowed in the vehicle lot during preview.

Immediately following the announcement of a winning bid, successful bidders are required to place a deposit in Cash, Bank Money Order or Certified Check for $150 or 10% of the total amount of the bid, whichever is greater. Certified check or money order must be made out to "Treasurer, State of New Jersey". If so desired, the item can be purchased outright on the auction day. The balance may be paid and the item picked up between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday of the following week. Any balance due must be paid for by money order or certified check. No cash will be accepted after the day of auction. We do not accept credit cards.  

Any item not picked up by 3 p.m. on the Friday following the auction date will be charged a storage fee of $40 per item. Storage fees will be assessed for each calendar day, starting the Saturday following the auction date and including the day the item is picked up from DSS. Bidders must pay all storage fees in full before removing the item from DSS. Failure to pay the balance due, including assessed storage fees, by 3 p.m. on the second Friday following the auction date (thirteen (13) calendar days from the auction, including the auction date), shall result in the forfeiture of the bid deposit and any additional payments made thereon, and forfeiture of all claims to the item. Forfeited items will be listed for a future auction.
