Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. retains the right to govern goods and services sold to clients and to maintain the level and integrity of our business. Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. has the right to terminate the auction at any time; withdrawal from sale of any item; to sell at this auction items not listed; to group one of more lots into one or more selling lots or to subdivide into two lots or more selling lots. The auction company also reserves the right to sell all of the items listed in bulk.
Payment:
a) All payments will be required to be paid for with the credit card on file after auction is complete.
b) Buyer's Premium is 12% Online
c) Buyer specifically waves the right to dispute or deny payment for any purchases made with a credit card.
d) No items will be removed until they have been paid for. Purchaser is responsible for removal of all purchased goods. No abandonment of purchased items is allowed. All abandoned items will be sold for storage and moving fees.
e) Credit/Debit Cards will only be charged for a total of $600. The balance must be paid in cash at the time of Pick up. If items are being shipped then a cashiers check, money order, or wire transfer (including all fees) must be used as form of payment for the balance of the items.
Loading Equipment:
a) Buyer is responsible for their own removal of all items. Please bring any packing material and boxes that you may need. Please bring assistance to move heavy items to your vehicle and any tools for dismantling.
Item Removal:
All items must be on the scheduled pick up date. If other arrangements are absolutely necessary please contact site manager
No Liability:
a) Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. assumes no liability for your purchases. The buyer assumes and does agree to indemnify and hold the auction company and seller harmless from any future claim that shall pertain to fitness or use of the asset being purchased.
b) Persons attending during exhibition, sale or removal of goods assume all risks of damage or loss to person and property and specifically release and indemnify the Auction Company from liability therefore. Neither the Auction Company nor his principal or seller shall be liable by reason of any defect in or condition of the premises in which the sale is held. Consignors & Bidders: a) All consignors must fill out a contract with Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC., sign forms and abide by our terms listed.
b) All bidders must register for bidder's numbers using proper ID or proper information.
c) Any employee of Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. may bid at any auction if they wish to purchase an item.
d) All items become the sole responsibility of the purchaser when the auctioneer confirms your bid as the successful winner. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
e) If there is any dispute between two or more bidders, the auction company or its' auctioneer, may decide the successful bidder. The decision of the auction company, or its' auctioneer, shall be final and absolute.
Loss of Bidding Privileges:
a) If you have failed to pay for an item your bidding privileges will be revoked. Your privileges may be restored by paying for the item or repaying for the loss of the revenue due to the items not having been sold and by placing a credit card on permanent file whereby future purchases will automatically be charged.
Delinquent Accounts:
a) The bidder that has not paid for, or has not removed their items from the auction site, will be subject to the cost of storage, trucking, re-sale, deficiency balances, collection fees, and any legal fees for recouping a loss due to the bidder's negligence.
Reserves:
a) Any and all items that Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. agrees to sell are subject to a reserve as per Indiana State Auction Law.
Documents:
a) All documents must be completed in full by buyers and sellers. For Example: Death Certificates, Letters of Authority, Creditor Leins, and UCC's when purchasing vehicles, firearms, etc.
b) All gun buyers will be required to fill out a 4473 form and pass a background check. Out of state buyers will be required to have any and all guns shipped to an FFL (Federal Firearms License) Dealer.
Compliance with the Terms of Sale:
a) In default of payment of bills in full within the time announced for this auction the Auction Company in addition to all other remedies allowed by law, may retain all monies received as deposit or otherwise, as liquidated damages.
b) Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. is in complete accordance with Indiana statutes and Indiana Administrative codes, Title 25, Title 812, Department of Revenue Tax Bulletin #20, and Reference IC 6-2-4.
Warranties:
a) Everything is sold "AS IS/WHERE IS" with no warranties, representation or guarantees expressed, implied or otherwise given. All sales are final.
Conditions of Items Sold:
a) All information is believed to be accurate, but the auction company shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness of or defect in any lot, and makes no warranty in connection therewith.
No allowance will be made or sale set aside on account of any incorrectness, error in cataloging or any imperfection not noted. No deduction will be allowed on damaged articles as all goods being exposed for public exhibition are sold "as is" and without recourse. Harmeyer Auction & Appraisal Co., LLC. requires any and all buyers to preview and make your own opinion of conditions.
Auctioneers have the right to refuse service or eject any person obstructing the auction process.
The record of sale kept by the Auction Company, the audio tape of the auction and the bookkeeper records will be taken as final in the event of any dispute.
Shipping/Pick up
a)All items must be paid for prior to pick up or shipping of the item
b)Pick up will be scheduled the following day after closing of the auction unless otherwise noted
c)If items are to be shipped the buyer will first pay for the item at the close of the auction. Then after payment has been made the items will be boxed and packaged for a fee of $5 per box. Then the card will be charged again for the shipping & handling fees and the items will then be shipped.
d)If the card is declined for the shipping fees the buyer will be notified and items will not be shipped until the shipping is paid in full.

Kathy has decided that it is time to down size her collection of multi-generational collection of her family. There are many primitives, antiques and unique items in this sale. We will be have multiple auctions for Kathy to liquidate her and her family's items over the course of the next coming weeks. This auction will open 9/17/2018 at 8:00am and close 9/26/2018 at 6:30pm. There will be a preview 9/25/2018 from 4-6:00pm. With pickp to follow 9/27/2018 2-6pm. This auction is located 1/4 mile east of Emporia, IN on State Road 36. These are modern pieces: grapes, peach, lemon, strawberry and apple. 2 East Liverpool Potteries Co Water Pitcher & Bowl Very nice pink and white colored bowl and water pitcher set from East Liverpool Potteries Co. appears to be good with some wear but no chips or cracks. 3 #2 Crock Jug- Elwood Liquor Co Very nice #2 Crock jug, appears to be good free of cracks, the jug is etched with Elwood Liquor Co. Elwood, IN 4 Group of 5 Oil & Candle Lamps This lot has 5 lamps and carbide lamp. 3 are candle type lamps or lanterns and then 1 oil lamp and one carbide. 5 Monarch #3 Lidded Crock & Larger Lidded Crock Two Small crock jugs with lids. The smaller one is labeled with Monarch and has 3 stamped in lid handle. The larger crock has lid that is domed shaped and has lettering but was not able to make out words. Small measures 5 1/2" T x 5" W larger measure... 6 Group of 3 Cheese Crocks & Zephyr Bosom Pads 3 different cheese crocks that are modern along with a Cox & Purves Zephyr Bosom Pads Crock. There is a crack in the Zephyr crock. 7 Large Adlake Railroad Lantern This is an Adlake lantern from Chicago. It is missing one lens on the back. It was originally oil and has been converted to electric. Still a nice piece with multiple colored lenses. Measures 13" T x 11" W 8 2 Oil Lanterns w/ Red Globes A set of two different lanterns from different companies. The larger is made by Hanlan and the smaller silver colored is made by Adlake. Both are in good condition. 9 Railroad & Driving Oil Lanterns The railroad lantern has a clear globe and is made by Adlake. It is marked DTK RR. The driving lamp has 2 lenses one being red and the other clear with magnification. This lamp is manufactured by Rayo Driving Lamps. 10 Wild Turkey Decanters Four Wild Turkey Bourbon depicting turkeys in the wild. 11 2 Vintage Whiskey Bottles Two whiskey bottles one from Hiram Walker Rock & Rye and then the amber colored bottle has metal shot glass on top with cork. This bottle has design of roses and scroll work. The label on the bottle says "wood aged" shot glass lid say Four Roses. 12 Decanters- Race Cars, Telephone & Indiana This lot features several decanters with the majority being race cars. There is one Avon decanter and a small ceramic race car figurine. The triangle Indiana decanter is from James Beam Co. 13 1 Gallon Cream Can Very nice 1 gallon cream can. No markings bottom is good and lid does come off. 14 B & O Railroad Oiler Can An oiler can from B & O Railroad. Lid does come off and bottom is good. 15 Large Collection of Liquor & Decor Bottles This lot features a large selection of vintage liquor bottles and a few decorative type bottles. There is also a milk glass decanter from the 1939 World's Fair. 16 Oil Lamps This lot of oil lamps has 2 modern brass colored with chimneys. The other appears to be modern with no chimney. Also included is a copper Coleman filter funnel and small brass torch. Nice little lot of oil type items. 17 Long and Short of Oil Lamps We have the short and tall of the oil lamps. Here is a a very tall (28 1/2" from base to top of chimney) aluminum base oil lamp that is stamped 1975. The glass is a frosted finish. The small lamp is a nice blue color with a fluted chimney. 18 Four Oil Lamps Another nice set of oil lamps offered. One is milk white, another is clear with a pedestal base and two more older lamps. There is some damage to the bottom of the pedestal based lamp. Two are missing globes. 19 Scales This lot features two sets of scales. One is a brass hanging set that appears to read to 40lbs. The other set is balance scales that are cast and have some rust. They do function. We were not able to find weights for either set. No markings found 20 Clear Glass Chimneys & Milk White Glass Shade We have 8 glass chimneys for oil lamps and a hobnail milk white glass shade. These we were not able to fit on the lamps in the previous lots and assumed to be after market extras. 21 Cast Iron Chicken Banks A lot of three cast iron chicken banks. All appear to be good. 22 Marx Super Hot Rod Toy Marx Super Hot Rod toy with box. The box is in rough condition but is complete and with the toy. The toy appears to be in great condition with little to no damage. There is some surface rust on the back bumper of the car. We have operated the can v... 23 Cast Iron Truck, Race Car & Safe Bank This is all cast iron with a race car, truck and Junior Safe Deposit Bank. The truck rivet or spot weld has come loose. Junior safe combo is seized up and not able to move. 24 Cattle Brass Tags Cattle Chains w/ Brass Number Tags; 3 brass cattle chains & numbers 13, 16, & 17. The 30 tag is a plastic tag 25 Boy Scout Compass by Taylor & Brass Compass Taylor Boy Scout compass complete with box. The other compass is in brass with cover. Both do work. 26 Cast Iron Mailbox & Match Holder Vintage cast iron mail box and match holder. They are rusty but functional. Mailbox measures 13" T x 4" W. 27 Cast Iron Uncle Ben Bank 11" cast iron Uncle Ben bank. Very nice piece appears to be good. 28 Aunt Jemima & Uncle Ben Cast Iron Banks The Aunt Jemima bank is 7 1/2" tall and complete. There are some nicks in the paint but over all good. Uncle Ben is 6" tall and some wear on him but again complete and over all good condition 29 Minnie Mouse Cast Iron Bank Another nice cast iron bank of Minnie Mouse. No markings and in overall good condition. 4 1/2" 30 Vintage Hoppe's & Shell Oil Can In this lot we have 3 Hoppe's bottles 2 are No. 9 solvent and the third is Hoppe's oil. Also included is a Shell Handy Oil can. 31 Vintage Tins This lot has approximately 10 tins and vintage pieces. Includes 2 snuff tins, Red Rose Coffee, Old Judge Coffee and Dixie Queen Candy Sticks, plus many other tins. 32 Antique Glass Bottles This lot features several glass bottles and containers. A Vitaflo Glass baby bottle, Bo-Peep Ammonia glass bottle and smaller bottles, one looks to be a vintage ink well. 33 Brass Pieces Large amount of brass pieces. Included are trivets, door knocker, door handles, horse hame tips and many more items. 34 Modern Advertising Tins Lot of modern advertising tins from Maxwell House, Sutter Home, and others. 35 Christmas Decor & Ornaments Moose Christmas decor items along with Santa Clause and Santa ornaments 36 Conductors Hat & Leather Gloves Both of these items are in very rough condition but really unique items. The badges on the hat are still in good condition but the hat is in rough condition. There is some damage to the gloves as well. 37 Fenton Several pieces of Fenton both hand painted and not painted. Includes animals, vase and bell. 38 Miniatures Several miniatures of pot belly stove, birds, coffee grinder, oil lamp and steam engine tools. 39 Train Decor Several train decor items. Features a stain glass train, wire train and brass colored train. 40 Model Cars Corvettes, antique truck and a team Menards car. I have not opened the Menards car. Other boxed car does read Corvette. 41 Vintage License Plates All are Indiana license plates. Two appear to be from 1953 the other is from 1917. The 1917 plate is rusty but legible. 42 Tools & Parts Several older tools and large hand saw. There is a coping saw garden tool and then what appears to be the paddles from a butter churn. 43 Lighters & Matches Large lot of matches with some advertising and several lighters. One lighter is made out of a Falstaff beer can, Playboy lighters, Seagram's 7, Rogers and more. 44 National Washboard Co No. 510 No. 510 washboard from the National Washboard Co. this is a glass wash board. 45 Holsum Dietzen's Bread Sign Holsum bread sign that is porcelain covered. Very nice sign and in good condition. There is some chipping on the top side of sign. 46 Child's Grocery Cart A childs toy grocery cart with advertising on the inside and outside. It does ring when pushed. 47 Copper Bucket Large copper bucket measures 14" T x 13" W. It does have handles on each side. 49 Cast Iron Spittoon & Shoe Stay A cast spittoon that looked to be porcelain covered and a small shoe stay. That shoe stay measures 11 1/2" tall. 50 Machinist Toolbox Older wooden machinist tool box. The cover is off the box but the box is usable. There are 2 finger hole pieces missing. There is a mark but not able to read the name. Was manufactured in Swanton, OH. 51 Dinner Bell Large dinner bell with clapper. Does still ring and work. No cracks in the bell. Also has bracket for mounting. Bottoms opening measures 14". 52 Wicker Bottle Basket This is a 5 gallon bottle with a wicker basket. Top of the neck is damaged 53 Wicker Basket Bottles Several different sized wicker baskets with bottles. One is marked Bacardi. 54 Vintage Phones Two ringer telephones or crank telephones. Both have a little damage. The cord is broken to the hand piece and hand piece is missing on the other. Still nice display pieces. 55 Copper This lot has a copper pot with handle that has some damage on bottom. Also a copper teapot and finally a brass scoop. The scoop is heavily made. There has been a triangle cut out of the bottoms of the scoop. 56 Carpenters Box Nicely made carpenters box. Measures 32" L x 8" W x 13" T Does look to be more modern made. 57 Old Hollander Beer & Ale Box Large wooden Old Hollander Beer & Ale wooden box from Hamilton Brewing Co from Hamilton, OH. Box is in good condition, writing is legible and some slight damage at corners. 58 Kroger, Kraft & Swift Wooden Boxes Here we have a nice lot of wooden grocery boxes. This lot features Kroger American Cheese, Kraft Pimento cheese and finally a Swift Corned Beef Box. All are in good condition. There is some discoloration on all the boxes with the Kroger being the wor... 59 General Wooden Boxes 2 general wooden boxes. One may be military from a foreign country. The other is a general wooden box looks like it could have been a drawer. 60 Oil on Canvas Paintings 2 Large oil on canvas paintings. One from Henry Rogers which is signed Herni Rogers. The other is signed with the name Baillie. Both look to be French inspired. Both are 24" x 20". 61 Chen Mao Horse Hair Paintings We have a set of Chen Mao horse hair paints. Both appear to be good and are very unique, frames in gold frames and measure 21" x 25". They do need cleaned. 62 Pictures & Mirror Vintage prints and mirror. 63 Vintage Wall Hangings & Advertising Older Wall prints of different types and mirror thermometer from Bricker Body Shop in Anderson, IN 64 Stain Glass Wall Art Large stained glass wall art. Believe it to be a window at one time that now has been framed and has wire for hanging. There is two small broken panes on bottom left corner. Measures 2 1/2" W x 40" T 65 Misc Frames & Prints Several picture frames and a few prints. Most prints are in very rough condition. Is one picture from 1902 First Lutheran Church Jamestown, NY. 66 Misc Baskets & Longenberger Basket Very Large lot of baskets and also includes one Longenberger basket 67 Vintage Weaving Shuttles & More Three weaving shuttles a wooden knitting needle 68 Ladies Jewlery Boxes, Ring Boxes & Mirror A very ornate jewelry box inscribed with Trier Porta Nigra. Also is a weaved jewlery box and small stand mirror with 2 ring boxes. 69 McCoy & Gold Footed Piece Blue green colored McCoy piece that appears to be good also with this is a gold footed ceramic piece. No mark on this piece. 70 Silverware All items are silverplate with the majority Rogers. There are a couple other marks in this lot but majority is Rogers. 71 St. Clair Glass Items This is a set with all the same pattern. Included is a candle stick holder, bird paper weight and teapot ring holder. These are marked Maude & Bob St. Clair. All appear to be good. 72 Train Book Ends & Statue Here we have a set of train book ends with one end the engine and the other end the caboose. The other piece is an engineer sitting on a small train smoking a pipe. 73 Red Glass Nice lot of ruby red colored glass. There are three stemmed pieces along with a pressed glass piece that is not marked. One of the pieces is marked Faroy USA and the toothpick holder marked 1973 for the Madison County sesquicentennial. 74 Colored Glass Lot Many pieces of different colored glass. This includes a perfumer, miniature bottles and more. The older candy holder with the horse and barrel, the man driving is missing his head. 75 Odd Fellows & Knights of Pythias Items Knights of Pythias is from Markville Lodge No. 479. There is no mark on the glass paper weight that I could see. That is also marked Knights of Pythias 76 Opalescent Hobnail Fluted Pieces Three pieces of opalescent hobnail pieces. The largest piece is 5 1/2" tall and the matching smaller are 3 1/2" tall. No marks on any of the items and all appear to be good. 77 Carmel Slag Bob St. Clair Toothpick Holder This is a bicentennial Carmel slag toothpick holder by Bob St. Clair. Appear to be in good condition. 78 St Clair Paperweight St. Clair paperweight clear with almost a poke dot finish. Appears good and marked just St. Clair 79 Set of Bob St. Clair Paperweight These are a set of Bob St. Clair paperweights. They both appear to be good and there is some discoloration on the bottom of one. 80 Men's Shaving Items This lot features straight razors, leather sharpening straps and double edge safety razor. 81 Horse & Cowboy Themed Cup & Saucer No mark on these, the saucer does have some wear and fading to the picture on the bottom but over all in ok condition. There is a small chip on the rim of the cup with the horse. 82 Wooden Salt & Peppers, Egg Cup and Bells This misc lot has wooden salt and peppers shakers, and an egg cup stamped with Reed & Barton along with two bells. The one bell appears to possibly be silver plate while the other looks to be brass and is engraved with marks and inside reads India. 83 Salt & Peppers, Jadeite Scottie Dog, Salt Dips This lot features several misc items. There salt and pepper shakers, salt dips, eye washer and more. 84 Misc Items Here is a lot of misc items including candle holders a stone box and more. 85 Thresher's Reunion Thermometer Metal National Thresher's Reunion thermometer. 86 Sleeping Hispanic Boys A set of ceramic sleeping Hispanic boys. 87 Pine Theme Handled Pot This is a pottery piece that is pine theme and appears to be good. Not marked measures 6 1/2" tall with 7" opening. 88 Child's Tea Sets & Table Service Several child's tea sets and table service. All are not marked but the blue, red and yellow flower pattern is marked Japan. Several are rough with damage. 89 Cup & Saucers Here is a cup and saucer marked Haviland and three in marked. 90 Clear Glass Items This lot features clear Glass items. Included are bowls, serving trays, pitcher and cake stand. 91 Lu-Ray Pastels Serving Plates Nice set of Lu-Ray Pastels serving plates. Larger plate measures 13" and smaller 12". 92 Hand Painted Plates Two hand painted plates. The long dish with lilacs is not marked. Other dish is marked Kitchen Kraft Oven Safe. 93 Hand Painted Plates Another Large lot of hand painted plates. Many are not marked. Footed floral bowl is marked Nippon. 94 Decorative Plates Several decorative plates included. Bicentennial, 1970 plate, Brown County Indiana, and others. 95 Haviland Set for 6 Set of 6 hand painted floral Haviland plates along with a Limoges marked serving platter. All appear to be good. 96 Royal Albert England Set This has two cup and 6 saucers that are marked Royal Albert, England, Bone China. All appear to be good. 97 Clear Glass & Crystal Lot Several pieces of clear glass of all types. There is one pieces of 24% lead crystal hand cut from Germany. 98 Earthenware Bowls Lot of 3 earthenware bowls and a dog bowl. All mixing/serving bowls are in rough condition with cracks. 99 Clocks All are battery operated and one is an alarm clock. The mantle clock is marked Seth Thomas but is battery operated. 100 Racing Mugs & Others This lot has 3 racing mugs along with a piece from Marci Gras 1980 from New Orleans. 101 2 Mixer/Measures Two different sized mixer measures. These are not marked but small one is 2 cup measure and mixer. Larger is marked for measuring and has small chip on spout. 102 Rival Terra-cotta Cooking Dishes Lot of 2 terra-cotta cooking dishes. Folded cabinet measures 40" L x 21" W 188 Vintage Wooden Washing Machine This is a very unique piece. This is a wooden washing machine that is missing the mechanics of it but a great display piece. We were unable to make out the manufacturer but it does say 9 gallons. 189 AM/FM Shortwave Philco Radio This is a AM/FM Shortwave radio. There are still tubes in the back we have not plugged in to see if it still works. Some of the Bakelite buttons are damaged but a neat piece from yesteryear. 190 Roll Top Desk Very nice roll top desk.
