1- All registered bidders may bid in-person live at Village Square Aucitons, 409 Village Street, Hillsborough, NC 27278. Absentee/internet bidding will be conducted via HIBID. Phone Bids can also be arranged up 9am day of live auction. All phone bids must be secured with a credit card.
2- Buyers Premium- Live in-house bidding at Village Square Auctions physical location is Thirteen percent, 13% with a 3% discount for Cash or check. For online bids placed through HIBID.com buyers premium is Eighteen percent , 18%. Phone bids buyers premium is 18%.
3- State sales tax is 7.5% unless you have an NC tax exempt number on file, NO sales tax for out of state buyers.
4- Personal property- Buying items as is, where is, no guarantees, no warrenties, expressed or implied. Descriptions are believed to be accurate, but not guaranteed. It is the bidders responsibility to inspect items before placing bids. There are no refunds or exchanges, if you bid on an item and win it you will pay for the item in full and arrange pick up or shipping. If you would like further description or have a question about an item you are encouraged to call VSA.
5- Weights and measurements are approximates not exact.
6- Online bidders: The identity of all bidders will be verified. If bidders cannot be verified Auctioneer reserves the right to deny bidding activity until person is verified. Bidder is responsible for any and all activity on theor account to include bids, local and state taxes, buyers premium, payments and arrangements to take possession of items. You must be 18 years old to register and bid on any items.
7- Auction cancellation: Seller and Auction Company reserves the right to reject any bid for any reason. Seller or auction company reserves the right to cancel auction, remove or add any item or lot in the auction prior to the close of the auciton.
8- Default- Seller or Auction Company reserves the right to sell an item to the next highest bidder if the winning bidder defaults on payment of item/lot.
