Live in-house bidders pay a 10% buyers premium with a 3% convenience charge for credit cards or PayPal. Online bidders pay a 15% buyers premium with 3% convenience charge for credit cards or PayPal. All in-state bidders shall pay 7% Indiana state tax unless a tax exempt form has been provided. All items are sold as is unless guaranteed by grading in catalog or in writing in advance. We ship to those that cannot make it here in person. We get commercial pricing from FedEx and USPS and pass those savings on to our customers. We do charge a packing materials and handling fee to cover our expenses but are not profiting from the process.

We have opted to divide the two days of trains to be Lionel on Friday and American Flyer on Saturday. The Friday session will include lots of Lionel prewar and postwar with a light sprinkling of modern era. The trains vary from mint in box to well used and parts condition. Highlights include 111-50 Father and Son trestle set with original instruction sheets and a good number of the parts with a complete original box, 6816 flat with dozer and 6817 flat with scraper, both unrun with mint loads and decent original boxes, mint 11760 and 11550 late postwar boxed sets, 2379 Rio Grande F3 AB set, lots of accessories with original boxes, boxed 758W prewar streamlined set, several 763 Berkshires with various tenders, 2339 Wabash GP-7, five prewar Lionel OO scale freight sets with track and much more. Not many photos will be available but the catalog will be posted online 2 weeks before the sale. Sale will be conducted in the Toystrainsandotheroldstuff LLC auction facility at 1951 W Division Rd, Fowler, IN. We are located 1 mile east of US 41, 6 miles north of Boswell, IN or 12 miles south of Kentland, IN coming from the west and 1 mile south of IN 18, 2 miles west of Fowler coming from the east.
For those traveling more than a days drive away, the Red Roof Inn in Kentland is the closest hotel and offers discounted rates to our customers, just mention Toystrainsandotheroldstuff Auction house when booking a room or checking in and they will give you a discounted rate from their normal prices, their phone number is 219-474-5700. There are also many hotels to choose from in Lafayette and West Lafayette, which are 30 miles away.
Auctions will start promptly at 10AM with preview from 8AM-10AM before each days sale. Lunch breaks will be 15 minutes each day at NOON. We provide sandwiches, water, coffee and dessert cake for all in attendance. Restroom available, no smoking inside auction house or within 20 feet of door. |
