Partial Estate and Personal Property Auction of

E.W Massey (Deceased) and  wife, Mildred Ware Massey (Living)

 HELD ON SITE

Saturday  November 11th, 2017  10:00 AM

At  516 Brooks Road, Reidsville North Carolina 27320

It has been a few years since we lost E.W. Massey, but he is still remembered fondly by all that knew him.  Some stories about E.W. have been shared with me lately and they range from him "calling" square dances at the VFW, to him dancing at the Farm and Garden Show. He may be best remembered for his appearance in the Reidsville Centennial Parade where he was pulled in a wagon by his goat!

E.W. Massey was a well-known man whom everyone liked and respected.  He was an active member and deacon at Penn Memorial Baptist Church.  You could find him at Short Sugar's or Modern Barber Shop in downtown Reidsville most mornings.  He supported his town and was a fixture at Reidsville Football games where he rang a cowbell each time the Rams scored!

This Auction has a wide variety of unique items that E.W. bought and collected over the years as he loved going to auctions.

The featured item is his  1940 Ford pickup that has been under the shed for many years!

There will be trucks, tractors, tools, 1 horse plows, an Amish buggy, an old wooden wheel wagon, a corn crib, wood cook stoves, shop tools, farm equipment, antiques,  and many other items. There is no telling what we may find! The barns and sheds are full!

Food & drinks will be served and sold by the

Thompsonville Baptist Church MISSION TEAM.

MORE details coming!

Please check back for listing and pictures!

We will add to the listing as we sift through the barns.
