Update 8-10-2017 We have accepted some additions to the sale including several minty unrun items such as 6500 Beechcraft Bonanza airplane flat car, 763 Berkshire with 763W 12-wheel tender, 2331 Virginian FM with NO SCREW CRACKS, Scarce 617 Diesel switcher with gorgeous original box and inserts, 6827 & 6828 Harnischfeger flat cars with unopened accessories & brick OBs, 6805 Atomic Waste Disposal car in beautiful box, 3562-75 operating barrel car, 6361 log car and more. Not to mention some nice accessories, a loose prewar coal tower with gray superstructure, 192 tower in original box, mint unused 375 motorized turntable, Bascule Bridge, Oil Derrick and other fantastic trains, NEAR MINT 637 steamer in original box, gorgeous 746 Norfolk & Western J steam locomotive with short stripe tender in original boxes, mint boxed 3330-100 operating submarine kit with nearly all aqua graphics, Dealer service station decals from 1959-60 and 1960-61, dealer only billboard and much much more to come.
Update 8-27-2017- A few great additions just came in including a 6800-60 Beechcraft Bonanza airplane (white over red variation), separate sale 6817-100 Allis Chalmers earth scraper in white box, separate sale 3530-30 transformer pole in OB, separate sale 6800-60 Beechcraft Bonanza airplane in OB, 6517-60 Erie bay window caboose and an extremely rare complete dealer carton with six 175-50 rockets.
Toystrainsandotheroldstuff is honored to sell the collection of long time TCA member, Thomas Harley at public auction with live online internet bidding. Toms collection is all very nice with highlights to include 2368 B&O F3 diesels in OBs with master carton, many other diesel and freight locomotives some with master cartons, almost all have original boxes, a nice list of 6464 boxcars, many other freight and passenger cars, complete sets, accessories and more. Details will come as the auction draws near but this will be a very nice auction with many excellent to like new boxed examples.
Sale will be conducted in the Toystrainsandotheroldstuff LLC auction facility at 1951 W Division Rd, Fowler, IN. We are located 1 mile east of US 41, 6 miles north of Boswell, IN or 12 miles south of Kentland, IN coming from the west and 1 mile south of IN 18, 2 miles west of Fowler coming from the east.
For those traveling more than a days drive away, the Red Roof Inn in Kentland is the closest hotel and offers discounted rates to our customers, just mention Toystrainsandotheroldstuff Auction house when booking a room or checking in and they will give you a discounted rate from their normal prices, their phone number is 219-474-5700. There are also many hotels to choose from in Lafayette and West Lafayette, which are 30 miles away.
Auctions will start promptly at 10AM with preview from 8AM-10AM before each days sale. Lunch breaks will be 15 minutes each day at NOON. We provide sandwiches, water, coffee and dessert cake for all in attendance. Restroom available, no smoking inside auction house or within 20 feet of door.
Online bidding will be available with a 15% buyers premium and a 3% convenience fee for credit or paypal. Live in house buyers premium is 10% with 3% convenience fee for credit cards. Shipping is available for those unable to attend, phone bids and absentee bids accepted upon signing bidder agreement. |
