1864 Civil War Diary belonging to George Gruber born 1828 in Pennsylvania died 1900 in Michigan. He was the 4th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Regiment, they were at Gettysburg. With extensive archives including full transcription and original enlistment papers!

Ed Rizzo was a firefighter with the Hawthorne N.Y. Fire Department from 1953-1969, then the Northfield Fire Department in the 70’s, and later 10 Years at Unadilla township. He also served 10 years as an Arson Investigator at the Livingston County Fire Department. Ed’s Dad Russel Rizzo was a retired fire chief of the Hawthorne N.Y. Fire Department for 40 years. Russel was chief when the Union Carbide Fire Happened in the 60’s.
