THE EXTRAORDINARY ESTATE AUCTION
plus ADDITIONS
WED, MAY 24, 2017 10 AM
At 10 am on May 24th 2017 Embassy Auctions International will be honored to offer a single estate of many wondrous and sensational antiques for your bidding pleasure at our showroom located at 5336 Mine Rd, Kinzers, Pennsylvania. One of the finest single owner collections of Period, Victorian and inlaid furniture we have ever encountered. Exceptional commodes, center tables, and sideboards. A Louis XV style vitrine made of tulipwood and satinwood. Pole screens, several tables adorned with incredible inlay and marquetry, side tables with ormolu mounts, multiple button tufted Victorian parlor settees and side chairs in the Belter manner and mahogany china closets. As the estate was first viewed its stately elegance appeared around every corner and from room to room. From the quality furnishings including American Brilliant cut glass, many Dresden figurines, marble and alabaster pedestals, to the sterling and silver plate hollow ware and utensils. Artwork after George Hitchcock, a seascape by listed artist Frederick Theodore Weber (1883-1956) in a shadowbox frame, 1830's-1840's portrait oils on canvas, early 19th century samplers and needle works, glass-domed fruit, a dozen marble top Victorian tables, tilt top tables from small to extremely large and ornate, finishing with a six foot tall Cheval mirror with goose-head supports. Needless to say the estate was a masterpiece of refinement and style. With that said we hope you will attend this extraordinary auction and are prepared to be awed and impressed! See the many photographs and captions in the photo gallery. **************************************************************** NOTE*** ANNOUNCEMENT!
