Spring into FUN with the 4-H Auction!! The Allegan County 4-H Youth Council will be holding their third annual fund raising auction on April 24, 2010, at the Griswold Auditorium, 401 Hubbard St. in Allegan, MI. The silent auction will kick off at 4:00 p.m.; with the live auction starting at 6:00 p.m. Scott Vander Kolk Sr. and Scott Vander Kolk Jr. from Burnips, MI will be the auctioneers for the evening. 4-H Camp Kidwell will be selling a picnic meal for a nominal fee beginning at 4:00 p.m. This year’s theme for the auction is “Spring Has Sprung”. There will be a 50/50 raffle, grab bags to purchase, and many door prizes to win. The live auction will feature themed baskets put together by 4-H clubs as well as items donated by area businesses. New this year 4-H entrepreneurs will be selling some of their hand made items. Also, new this year there will be activities for children to participate in such as coloring, movies, and a cup cake walk. The kids will also have children’s door prizes. This will be a fun filled evening for families to attend.
