SCott will assist Kenny Lindsay of American Eagle for this outstanding antique auction and trip into history! A Century of Family Memories Saturday, October 20, 2007- Location: Visit From Lansing, Michigan: 1 hour 15 minutes
The Estate of Mr. & Mrs. Deneau Ken Lindsay's American Eagle Auction & Appraisal Company is honored to be selected as the auction firm to sell at auction, 'A Century of Family Memories' for the estate of Mr. & Mrs. Jim Deneau. Mrs. Deneau (Adams) is a decendant of US Presidents, John Adams (1797-1801) and John Quincy Adams (1825-1829). Her family was one of the early settlers of the historic Bingham Farms area in the early 1830's. Interesting enough, this very estate was featured in The Eccentric newspaper way back in April of 1970 in an article titled; 'Adams' Family Antiques Fill Home of Settler's Descedant.' The late Mr. Jim Deneau and his lovely wife, Anna were not antique collectors but both had an appreciation of family relics that have remained in the family for generations. Considering the above, this is an extremely rare auction opportunity for the antiques enthusiast considering that the vast majority of items originated from generations of the Adams' Family. Even more interesting, is Mr. Deneau had the foresight to keep a log of many items that detail the history of that particular piece. Needless to say, on Saturday, October 20th at 10:30 a.m. we are confident that you will experience one of the most unique, pleasurable and memorable auction experiences in quite some time. Make this auction a family affair and spend this fall day in the beautiful village of Franklin, Michigan for a clean air outdoor auction under the colorful fall trees. While you are visiting the village, make it a point to sip on some hot apple cider and soft donuts at the historic Franklin Cider Mill - Suitable for the First Lady of the United States of America, Laura Bush once made a special visit to the cider mill which is located just a stone throw away from the auction site!
