Early 1975 Abner Zook 3-Dimensional Diorama Womelsdorf, PA. "Carriage Ride Stop At The Hat Tavern" Scene w/ Black Light, allowing Day & Night Scene. Measures 60"x 36", Condition is Excellent, Colors Are Outstanding. 

AUCTIONEER'S NOTE: This is one of the finest Abner Zook works you will ever see, and truly the shining star of any collection, as this is a must have!

The scene depicts a Team of (6) Horses pulling a Stage Coach (reading Philadelphia and Lancaster), stopped out front of the Hat Tavern, a stone 2-1/2 story colonial building. Guests are being welcomed to the Tavern, as Black Servant helps riders from Stage Coach. People are gathered on the lower lawn, listening to a man play the fiddle. The Barn Keeper is at the barn with lantern and (2) horses. All the while a Native American Indian is watching all the sights and sounds from beyond the split rail fence.
