There is no fee to register and obtain a bidder number. All auction items are consignments from individuals, businesses and the Federal Bankruptcy Court.
Please read the following: ELCO Auctions has been commissioned to sell by auction all store owned weapons & accessories of the Shooter's Depot of Corpus Christi. Shooter's Depot is a Class 2 manufacturer as well as a Class 3 retail shop. As many know, a robbery occured there on the evening of September 1st. The owner was shot and killed during the robbery and an employee was also shot and critically wounded. The employee is now in stable condition. The purpose of this auction is to generate funds for the widow.
Many of these weapons are Class 3 due to either being select fire autos, suppressor equipped or SBR/SBS or a combination of Class 3 designations. The buyers of these weapons will be required to apply for and receive the appropriate NFA tax stamp/permit in the same manner as if purchased in a retail shop before taking possession of the regulated item. In the instances where a weapon has only been customized for a sound suppression system, the buyer can take possession of the weapon immediately but will have to wait till receipt of the NFA stamp to take possession of the silencer. Class 3 & Class 1 dealers are welcome. We do not have any customer owned weapons, those are being handled seperately by Shooter's Depot.
