We are conducting a Sports Memorabilia Charity Auction for the “Dream Big Campaign,” with the goal of building a fully accessible, sensory-rich playground that will allow children and adults to develop physically, socially and emotionally. The public health and wellness area will be built on town-owned property in Canandaigua and become part of what will be Richard P. Outhouse Park West, near Richard P. Outhouse Memorial Park. It will include sections for 6- to 23-month-olds, 2- to 5-year-olds, and 5- to 12-year-olds, and a track along with perimeter with exercise equipment for adolescents and adults. The playground in its entirety is set up to facilitate play between multiple generations and abilities. The launch of the Dream Big Campaign began in May 2019 in order to raise $1 million to fund this health and wellness area.
