Bidder inspection is encouraged. By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them. Payment: Coach House Auctions will accept bank wire transfers, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, Discover, and Union Pay for absentee bids*. Placing an absentee bid with Coach House Auctions constitutes the bidder's agreement to have Coach House Auctions charge all purchases, applicable premiums and taxes to the absentee bidder's credit card and said charge may not be reversed. The absentee bidder's name and the name on the credit card must be one and the same. *Bidders outside of Canada may be required to pay by bank wire transfer. Pick Up and Shipping: If items need to be shipped, Coach House Auctions will deliver any purchases, as soon as possible, to the UPS Store in Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC. This service is provided free of charge however, Coach House Auctions has no control over the fees charged by UPS, and all items will be shipped complete with insurance to cover both the purchase and the shipping costs. Shipping fees are not determined by the purchase price and may exceed the purchase price in some cases. Please contact UPS if a quote is needed prior to bidding on items. Please bring help with you if you will need assistance to help you move heavy items. Pick up is on the day of the auction by 4pm. We will also be open for pick up on Monday after the sale from 9am - 12pm. Please contact us if you need to make other arrangements for pick up. Auctioneer's Discretion: The auctioneer has the right at his or her absolute and sole discretion to refuse any bid, to advance the bidding in such a manner as he/she may decide, to withdraw any lot, and in the case of error or dispute, and whether during or after the sale, to determine the successful bidder, to continue the bidding, to cancel the sale or to reoffer and resell the item in dispute. If any dispute arises after the sale, our sale record is conclusive. In the case of a tie bid, the floor bid will take precedence, followed by the earliest online bid.
