In accordance with our Terms of Use Agreement, the buyer agrees to the following:
Bidding will start at $1, $10, or $20. You can then increase the bid amount in $10 increments or place a MAX BID that is at least $20 or more than the current bid amount.
Any bids placed within the last 3 minutes of the auction will cause the auction time to extend an additional 3 minutes from that time.
With our Standard Membership, the winning bidder will be charged a 15% buyer premium of each unit. With our Executive Membership, the winning bidder will be exempt of the buyer premium for a reoccurring monthly payment of $39.95 (billed anniversary style).
Depending on the facility, a 10% deposit may be charged to the winning bidder's credit card at the close of the auction. That amount will be subtracted from the final amount due at the facility.
Bidders MUST clean out the unit entirely, leaving it in broom-swept condition while abiding by the rules and regulations of the facility, before the end of the 48-72 hr clean out period.
Winning bidders understand they are entering into a binding purchase contract. Failure to pay either party and clean out the unit completely will result in the bidder's account being suspended.
The facility has the right to cancel the auction at anytime.
The defaulted tenant has the legal right to cure the account thus cancelling the auction. This is true up until the payment is received from the winning bidder to both SelfStorageAuction.com and the storage facility in question, unless otherwise stated in the state's lien laws or facility.
Winning bidders are responsible for their winning bids, taxes, and other fees associated with their account regardless of whether they claim ownership of the unit(s).
By registering and agreeing to our Terms of Use, all bidders agree to not dispute credit card charges processed through www.SelfStorageAuction.com.

Nascar Jacket(s), tile cutter, weed trimmer, tools, 6ft aluminum ladder, portable work table, various step stools, various organizing & storage containers, light bulbs, fan, clothing • Woodlands Self Storage reserves the right to cancel any sale if the bids are, in the discretion of Woodlands Self Storage, unreasonable. • Buyer must be 18 years old to bid. • Buyer acknowledges that he or she is bidding on all items within the unit and all items must be removed. • Buyer must contact the facility immediately when the auction ends, to make arrangements to pay for and pick up the contents of the unit. Cash payment must be made within 24 hours of the end of auction and can only be done during business hours. • Buyer must provide a valid photo I.D. to the Site Manager. • No one will not be allowed to enter the storage unit or touch any items prior to bidding. • Sales are final and bids are for the entire unit. • The Auctioneer has final say on all issues, including whether to refuse a bid if a bidder has disrupted an auction or violated any rules. • Sales tax may apply. If Buyer has a resale license, bring a copy and present before payment. • Buyer must provide a $100 security deposit. • Failure to remove all of the contents from the facility grounds within 48 hours the contents will become the property of Woodlands Self Storage and the deposit will be lost. • One lock and one key will be provided to the Buyer for the unit for use during the 48 hour period. If the key and lock are not returned to the manager it will result in the loss of the deposit. • Buyer is not allowed to use the trash receptacles on the facility property. Use or trash left on property or within the unit will result in loss of security deposit. • Please advise the manager once the Buyer has completely emptied the unit. The manager will inspect that the unit is clean, the key and lock have been returned and all other requirements have been complied with, the security deposit will then be returned. • Smoking is prohibited on storage facility properties. • No Pets allowed at facility • Respect the Property, Managers, Tenants at all times. • Woodlands Self Storage reserves the right to refuse entrance to any Buyer at future auctions due to failure to follow these rules or any other unacceptable behavior at the auction or following. • PERSONAL ITEMS FOUND WITHIN THE UNIT SHOULD BE RETURNED TO THE SITE MANAGER IMMEDIATELY.
