Partnering with Flamingo Road Estate Sales again! This time we are in Decatur’s Oak Grove. After many fond years in the Atlanta area, our client Randy decided it was time to back to his hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Randy and his late wife Susan were close friends with the late General William J. “Lipp” Livesay and his wife Olga. General Livesay (June 8, 1931 – June 18, 2016) was born in Clarkston, Ga and retired to Fayetteville, GA. The General attended The University of North Georgia and later joined the army. He was a United States Army General who served as the Commander in Chief of United Nations Command/Commander in Chief, ROK/U.S. Combined Forces Command/Commander, United States Forces Korea/Commanding General, Eighth United States Army from 1984 to 1987 and was commander of Big Red One. His dear wife Olga was a concert pianist originally from St. Louis. They moved over 50 times in 30yrs of military service acquiring many treasure pieces in pre and post WWII Europe. They were frequent entertainers and hosted many dignitaries at their banquet table (offered in this auction) including General Charles DeGaulle, the Shah of Iran and Mohammed Reza Pahlavi. Since the General and his wife had no children, he left much of their treasured collection to Randy including the vintage dining room set, Colonial Manufacturing Company Grandfather clock awarded to the General, several Victorian pieces, several 1940’s French carved pieces, and sterling pieces. Randy decided to part with some of those items in this auction. In addition to the items previously owned by General Livesay, there are many beautiful pieces of furniture, coins, sterling silver and silver plate, Karistan rugs, vintage record albums and 45s, vintage toys, china, crystal, glassware, queen sleigh bed, large chest of drawers, art and accessories, power tools, yard tools, and much more! Listing Information

Partnering with Flamingo Road Estate Sales again! This time we are in Decatur’s Oak Grove. After many fond years in the Atlanta area, our client Randy decided it was time to back to his hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Randy and his late wife Susan were close friends with the late General William J. “Lipp” Livesay and his wife Olga.
General Livesay (June 8, 1931 – June 18, 2016) was born in Clarkston, Ga and retired to Fayetteville, GA. The General attended The University of North Georgia and later joined the army. He was a United States Army General who served as the Commander in Chief of United Nations Command/Commander in Chief, ROK/U.S. Combined Forces Command/Commander, United States Forces Korea/Commanding General, Eighth United States Army from 1984 to 1987 and was commander of Big Red One. His dear wife Olga was a concert pianist originally from St. Louis. They moved over 50 times in 30yrs of military service acquiring many treasure pieces in pre and post WWII Europe. They were frequent entertainers and hosted many dignitaries at their banquet table (offered in this auction) including General Charles DeGaulle, the Shah of Iran and Mohammed Reza Pahlavi.
Since the General and his wife had no children, he left much of their treasured collection to Randy including the vintage dining room set, Colonial Manufacturing Company Grandfather clock awarded to the General, several Victorian pieces, several 1940’s French carved pieces, and sterling pieces. Randy decided to part with some of those items in this auction.
In addition to the items previously owned by General Livesay, there are many beautiful pieces of furniture, coins, sterling silver and silver plate, Karistan rugs, vintage record albums and 45s, vintage toys, china, crystal, glassware, queen sleigh bed, large chest of drawers, art and accessories, power tools, yard tools, and much more!

Partnering with Flamingo Road Estate Sales again! This time we are in Decatur’s Oak Grove. After many fond years in the Atlanta area, our client Randy decided it was time to back to his hometown of San Antonio, Texas. Randy and his late wife Susan were close friends with the late General William J. “Lipp” Livesay and his wife Olga. General Livesay (June 8, 1931 – June 18, 2016) was born in Clarkston, Ga and retired to Fayetteville, GA. The General attended The University of North Georgia and later joined the army. He was a United States Army General who served as the Commander in Chief of United Nations Command/Commander in Chief, ROK/U.S. Combined Forces Command/Commander, United States Forces Korea/Commanding General, Eighth United States Army from 1984 to 1987 and was commander of Big Red One. His dear wife Olga was a concert pianist originally from St. Louis. They moved over 50 times in 30yrs of military service acquiring many treasure pieces in pre and post WWII Europe. They were frequent entertainers and hosted many dignitaries at their banquet table (offered in this auction) including General Charles DeGaulle, the Shah of Iran and Mohammed Reza Pahlavi. Since the General and his wife had no children, he left much of their treasured collection to Randy including the vintage dining room set, Colonial Manufacturing Company Grandfather clock awarded to the General, several Victorian pieces, several 1940’s French carved pieces, and sterling pieces. Randy decided to part with some of those items in this auction.
