PREMIUM PURCHASE - The bidder pays only the "premium" by making a dollar amount contribution to the Junior Exhibitor. The Junior Exhibitor retains ownership of the animal. The Exibitor may take the animal to other shows and ultimately may sell the animal privately at market price. 100% of the money raised will go directly to the Exhibtor.
ADD-ONS will be accepted during the auction after the animal is sold as normal. Internet bidders can call the Cooperative Extension Service Office at 501-268-5394 to place your add-ons.
All finances concerning the Junior Market Animal Auction are handled through the White COunty Fair office on the fairgrounds. Bidders and contributors have the option of paying the day of the auction or be billed late. Checks should be made payable to the White County Fair and can be mailed to the fairgounds at P.O. Box 1605, Searcy, AR 72145, or they can be dropped off from 8 am till noon any weekday. All contributions will be due to the White County Fair office by October 1.

Welcome to the 2020 White County Junior Market Premium Livestock Auction!
The primary purpose of the White County Junior Market Animal Program is to educate young people. However, by the time the actual show and sale day arrives, much of the learning has already taken place. Most Junior Market Animal Exhibitors are part of strong educational programs such as FFA or 4-H and learn a great deal about their animals, including the proper selection, feeding and care of these animals. They must also learn how to prepare and exhibit these animals. Along with this gained knowledge, these Junior Exhibitors also learn valuable life-long skills such as responsibility and the spirit of competition.
Due to the COVID pandemic, things look different this year. However, the youth will still be allowed to show their livestock and benefit from the Junior Market Animal Auction. This auction is the ultimate reward for years worth of long hard work for the Junior Market Animal Exhibitors.
By participating as a bidder, you are adding to the program and excitement by:
- Supporting America's leading industry...agriculture
- Providing funds for further education of a young agriculturalist
- Adding to the prestige of the Junior Auction, which receives more publicity each year
