Dear Bidders, due to the COVID-19 virus we are taking the following precautions for the health and safety of you and our staff for the Preview and Checkout Times.

If during a Preview please be aware we may restrict groups from congregating. Usually, fewer Bidders attend, so should not be an issue.

*During the Checkout times, we ask that you please reply to

RogersAuction2@gmail.com with an appointed time you plan to arrive or if you’d like your items shipped. Also, reply how you would like to pay, as this will speed up the checkout.

If you don’t reply, you may have to wait if a group is congregated, so appreciate your patience.

*Fortunately, this is a rather small number of items, so number of buyers should be very manageable with the 5 hour time frame we’ve allotted. *Our staff will also plan to get there early and group smaller items and can possibly hand these to you if you wish to remain in your vehicle.

When registering, your credit card will NOT be charged $100. This is for verification reasons only to make sure the card is valid. Beginning @ 7:30 PM, 3 Lots a minute will start closing down in order from lots 101. Unlike eBay, if someone bids in the last 2 minutes, that item will extend 2 minutes until all bidding has ceased. Be aware, a lot of bidding happens in the last few hours and closing will be fast, so if you cannot be in front of your computer Tuesday evening, use the Max Bid feature, and the computer will handle your bidding and try and buy at the cheapest price for you! When the lots begin closing, it is best to be on the “Active” page of the auction. Click on the button that says “Active” and this will take you to the lots that are still open for bidding, and the lots that are beginning to close. If you want to keep track of the items you are interested in, you can star the lot by clicking the star in the top left corner of the picture. Once you have your items “starred”, you can click on the button at the right corner of the page that says “My Items” and this will show you just the items you have starred.

Terms of Auction     

All firearms sales will be handled through Mr. Keith Allen (Owner of Blackwood Station Outfitters – Besides Allen & Son Barbecue 5670, US 15-501 N.), FFL in Pittsboro, NC. Gun purchaser will be required to pay for their purchase at the conclusion of the auction at the Silk Hope location for all checkouts.   Firearms must be picked up from Mr. Allen after the purchaser has passed all required background checks as dictated by NC law. A $30 fee will be required at the time of the background search. Should the buyer NOT pass the background check the purchaser will still be required to pay without any refunds of any type.  

*Concealed Carry permit requires NO background check.

Regular firearms shotguns rifles, must fill out Form 4473 and if they have concealed carry permit no background check necessary.  If have no concealed carry permit must fill out Form 4473 plus NICS background check. *For LONG GUNS: If they are from out of state provided these requirements meet their state law regulations they can purchase and transport back to their home state.  *Hand guns require Form 4473 and either concealed carry permit or pistol purchase permit from sheriff of county in which they reside. Residents outside NC - we must ship pistol to licensed federal firearms dealer in the state they live in.

Federal background check can be instant, but can take up to five days.  After five days we have no response, we may deliver the weapon.  If a person has concealed carry or pistol permits from their local sheriff they may use a pistol permit (one per weapon) to purchase over the counter even if they choose to use it for a long gun.
