Buyer Registration Agreement This sale is being conducted by ServCorp International, Inc. (hereafter referred to as “Auctioneer”). The auction is open to public, but all persons wishing to participate by bidding on any of the items must register with the cashier, sign the Registration Agreement and obtain a bid card number. By signing the registration agreement, bidder is in agreement with and bound by the Terms and Conditions herein. 1. REGISTRATION - Each person entering must register and have a valid driver’s license to register. No one under the age of 18 will be allowed on auction premises. A $50 CASH ONLY deposit will be collected, on behalf of the City of New Orleans, in exchange for a bidder card bearing bidder’s number for the auction. Said deposit will be applied to any and all purchases made at the auction. If no items are declared sold to my bidder card number, the deposit will be refunded upon surrender of my bidder card, except in the event of failure to comply with the terms listed herein or announced by auctioneer on auction day. No deposits will be refunded once the auction starts until after the auction concludes. Any deposits not claimed by 4PM on auction day will be forfeited. 2. VIEWING – Registered persons will be permitted on the auction premises on the day before the auction date to preview the vehicles from 9AM until 3PM and on auction day, before the auction beginning at 8:00 AM. The auction will start promptly at 9 AM on auction day. 3. PAYMENT IN FULL is required on the day of the auction. Payment shall be made by cash, cashier’s check, certified check, money order, company/personal check with a current irrevocable bank letter of guarantee and credit cards with a 5% handling fee on credit cards. Checks without a guarantee letter will only be accepted up to the amount of $5,000 and will incur a 5% handling fee as well. All money transactions will be conducted on the auction premises. 4. A nonrefundable $25 notary fee will be applied to the purchase of each vehicle and will be collected at the time of invoice. Vehicles will have a “Permit to Sell” in lieu of a title, unless otherwise noted on sale day. Buyer will be provided a notarized bill of sale and a “Permit to Sell” issued by the Office of Motor Vehicles in accordance with LA R.S. 32:1711-1732, unless otherwise noted on sale day. 5. ALL VEHICLES ARE SOLD “AS IS, WHERE IS” WITH NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED AND WITHOUT KEYS. The running condition of the vehicles is UNKNOWN. Buyers acknowledge they must rely solely on their own inspection of all items and accepts all responsibility for examining any item offered for auction. 6. Announcements made by auctioneer on sale day take precedence over any previous oral and/or written statements/agreements. 7. All sales are final and absolutely no refunds of purchases will be allowed for any reason. 8. All items declared as “SOLD” by the auctioneer must be paid for in full on the day of the auction. NO Exceptions. 9. The auctioneer and/or seller reserve the right to accept or reject any and all bids or remove any item from the auction at their discretion. 10. If full payment is not made on the day of the auction, the registration deposit, as well as any other monies paid will be forfeited and bidder will not be allowed to register or bid at any and all future auctions conducted by ServCorp International, Inc. 11. Any bidder found altering, or tampering with, any items at the Almonaster Towing Facility will forfeit his/her deposit along with the right to bid at the auction or future auctions and will be removed from the premises. 12. REMOVAL: All vehicles purchased and paid for must be removed from the auction site by the Monday following the auction by 3 PM. No shipping is provided for this auction, pickup only. The City of New Orleans does NOT have loading equipment available for lifting vehicles onto a trailer. All loading/removal is responsibility of and at the expense of the purchaser. Purchasers have the auction day and 2 business days to remove the vehicle(s), unless otherwise stated. Storage fees from the Almonaster Towing Facility will accrue after allotted removal dates at a rate of at least $19.00 per day per vehicle. Anyone who does not remove their purchases within the specified dates and times will be banned from participating in future auctions. 13. The buyer hereby assumes and does agree to indemnify and hold harmless the auctioneer and sellers from any current or future claim which shall pertain to the fitness, use, damage, safety, injuries to persons or property that may have occurred during the auction or that may have been caused by or during removal or use of items purchased. Neither auctioneer nor Seller assumes responsibility for any accidents or loss due to theft, fire, vandalism, or personal injury and/or lost stolen or damaged items. 14. These terms do not apply to online bidding; See online bidding platform for online bidding terms, if applicable.

Inspection/Registration: Wed, March 11th from 9AM to 3PM and morning of the auction beginning at 8AM. A $50 cash deposit will be collected, on behalf of the City of New Orleans, in exchange for a bidder card. A valid driver's license is required to register. Everyone entering the gate must register even to view the vehicles. No one under the age of 18 is allowed on auction premises. The $50 registration deposit fee will be applied to any purchases made by bidder at the auction. This fee is only refundable if no items are declared sold to bidder and upon surrendering their bidder card. No deposits will be refunded once the auction starts unless and until the cashier can verify no bids were awarded to bidder's number. Effective Jan 1, 2020 Deposits for unsuccessful bidders must be claimed by 3:00 pm on Auction day or will be forfeited.

Directions: From I-10 in New Orleans, exit Read Blvd, go South to end of road, turn left onto Almonaster Rd, auction will be on the right

Removal Times: Day of auction until 5:00PM and removal will also be on Friday 3/13 from 8AM to 5:00PM, Saturday 3/14 from 7AM to 3:00PM & Monday, 3/16 from 8AM to 4:00PM; the gate will close promptly at end of checkout time; no expections. Any items remaining at end of removal will be assessed at least a $19 storage fee per day per vehicle by the Almonaster Towing Facility.

All purchases must be paid within One (1) hour of Auction Ending. Some items may be subject to reserve • A $25 Non-Refundable Notary fee will be applied to each vehicle and will be collected at time of invoice. 

PLEASE NOTE: Once the auction begins at 9AM, there will not be any deposit refunds conducted unless and until the cashier can determine that in fact no bids were awarded to bidder's number. If you are not a successful bidder, your deposit MUST be claimed on Auction Day before 3:00pm or it will be forfeited. You may also get your deposit back on inspection day if you think you might not return for the auction. Notary work will not begin until the auction has concluded.
