PAYMENT: Invoices are sent to winning bidders via email immediately following the sale. Your credit card on file will be processed for payment for your purchases within 24 hours of the end of sale. Please ensure the account number and expiration date is accurate and the card can bear the weight of your purchases. Issues with payment may result in a suspended account with us and with the bidding platform. After 72 hours post-sale and three processing attempts, declined credit card holders will be additionally charged a re-listing fee of $50 or 20% of the balance due, whichever is greater. USPS money orders or checks (which must clear before item is released) are also accepted when postmarked by the day following the sale; mail to/payable to: LEGACY AUCTION, PO BOX 224, EFFORT PA 18330. Wire transfers: Contact us for instructions. Complete the transfer in accordance with your bank's protocol. It is critically important to check with the bank for exact transfer costs before submitting payment, as each bank will take its fees from the transfer, which may result in United Country - Legacy Auction & Realty receiving less than full payment for the vehicle. Failure to pay the full sale price within three business days will result in penalties and unnecessary delay. Lastly, send an emailed copy of the bank receipt and the invoice in order to verify the payment and approve the removal of the item(s). ONLINE BUYERS: For invoices over $5,000, the winning bidder will be charged 10% of the total invoice or $2,000, whichever is greater, immediately following the sale to secure the bid. This deposit is non-refundable. Winning bidder must notify us within 24 hours following the sale for method of payment for the balance due. Funds paid by wire transfer or mailed check must be postmarked the day following the sale. TITLED VEHICLES: Seller shall deliver to the Buyer clear title on all vehicles unless specifically announced otherwise. Title will be delivered to the Buyer once funds have cleared. Buyer will be required to pay the balance in cash, credit card, check, or wire transfer. Personal/business checks are acceptable forms of payment for onsite buyers with a Bank Letter of Guaranty. Auctioneer does not offer financing; your financing must be in place with your lender before you bid. United Country - Legacy Auction & Realty accepts cash, check with bank letter, major credit card, or wire transfer. Business or personal checks will be accepted when checks are accompanied by a Bank Letter of Guaranty guaranteeing payment for the check number being presented and addressed to "United Country – Legacy Auction & Realty," and valid for 30 days following the sale. NO checks of any kind will be accepted as payment unless in compliance with bank letter requirements. After receiving notification that your bid was the winning bid at auction, you have three (3) days to pay for the item(s). Payment must be received no later than 4 PM Eastern time (ET) on the third day. If payment is not received by 4 PM ET on the third business day after the sale, the winning bidder will be charged a penalty of $50 or 2% of the vehicle’s purchase price, whichever is greater. Buyer will be required to pay balance in cash, check with bank letter, major credit card, or wire transfer. For onsite buyers, personal and business checks are acceptable as a form of payment with a Bank Letter of Guaranty. Bank Letter of Guaranty: Checks for vehicle purchase(s) must be drawn from the account that appears on the Bank Letter of Guaranty. United Country – Legacy Auction & Realty will NOT accept checks written against funds from another bank or investment account. A bank statement or electronic display of funds will NOT be accepted as a letter of guaranty. SHIPPING OR PICKUP: Payment in full with a valid receipt is required before removal of any items from the property. Pickup in person for any item is welcomed. If you wish to arrange pickup for yourself or a third party, please contact us within 24 hours following the sale. Otherwise, items will be delivered to The UPS Store, Mt. Pocono, PA, within 3-4 days following the auction. All items will be shipped through The UPS Store at buyer expense. Any questions regarding items to be shipped via The UPS Store should be directed to them [570-839-8010]. The UPS Store is pleased to provide an estimate of the shipping cost at your request. The UPS Store will contact winning bidders directly a few days following the sale for delivery timing and payment. The UPS Store professionally packages, insures, and ships your valuables. Quality packaging and shipping is sometimes expensive, and we have no control over prices charged for these services. Pickup in-person is necessary for select items; just contact us to make arrangements. Agent must show ID and proof of purchase receipt prior to pickup. All items must be removed within 5 days of the auction, or by Friday, May 20 at 4 PM ET. Announcements made the day of auction take precedence over any and all written or verbal statements.
