Auction End Time: Our on line auctions are timed events and all bidding will begin to close at specified times. There is also an auto extend feature. If a bid is placed in the final 3 minutes of an auction, the close of the auction will be automatically extended 3 minutes from the time the bid was placed. Example: if an auction item scheduled to close at 6:00 pm receives a bid at 5:58 pm, the close time will automatically extend to 6:03 pm. The auto extend feature remains active until no further bids are received within a 3 minute time frame. Staggered Closing: This online auction closes in intervals. Please check the auction announcements for detailed information regarding these intervals. The auto extend feature closely simulates a live auction. Payment, Pickup, Shipping & Storage Terms: Pickup/Payment Info: PAY AT PICKUP - Accepted methods of payment are cash, cashier's check or personal/business check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover or venmo (with a 3% processing fee ($3 minimum) or wire transfer. All fees incurred by wired transfers will be paid by the purchaser. All purchases that have not been paid by the close of the pick-up deadline will be charged to the credit card used at registration, with a 3% processing fee (minimum processing fee of $3). All purchased items must be removed by the deadline as noted. Any items not removed by the deadline will, at Auctioneer's discretion, be discarded or resold with proceeds retained by Auctioneer. There will be NO REFUND to the purchaser for these forfeited items. Upon registration your credit card will be verified for authenticity and there will be a $1.00 pending charge that may appear on your statement. This charge will not be processed and will disappear after the authentication process has completed. There is an additional charge of $20.00 that will occur when other arrangements are not made for pickup prior to bidding. Item Pickup: Please make arrangements to pickup on the specific date. Other arrangements have to be made prior to bidding if date is not available for you. If arrangements are not made prior a $20.00 service fee will be added to your total. Items are only held for one week if arrangements have not been made, you may loose your chance to bid with our auctions again. Shipping: Items can be shipped, please note there is an additional $10.00 handling fee added to the shipping charges.. Essence Auctions ships USPS. We will call and verify shipping amount and recieve credit card information and address. Shipping can take up to one week after the close of an auction. In comments to auctioneer please note you need shipping. Item Transportation: The auction company must be notified via phone or email of any items that cannot be picked up on an auction pickup day. The auction company may not be able to accommodate alternate pickup dates and times. Alternate pickup times will be subject to a $20.00 additional fee to the buyer. Sales Tax: A Kentucky sales tax of six percent (6%) will be added to the purchase. The sales tax will be applied to final bid price plus the buyer�s premium(10%). Dealers or other exempt parties must provide proper documentation to Auctioneer before bidding. This cannot change once invoices have been printed and must be done on every auction. Server, Software and Other Technical Issues: In the event there are technical difficulties related to the server, software or any other online auction-related technologies, the auction company reserves the right to extend bidding, continue the bidding, or close the bidding. NEITHER THE COMPANY PROVIDING THE SOFTWARE nor the auction company, nor the sellers SHALL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR A MISSED BID OR THE FAILURE OF THE SOFTWARE TO FUNCTION PROPERLY FOR ANY REASON. Disputes: Any dispute between the auction company, its Agents or Representatives and the Buyer(s) will be tried in a court of jurisdiction in the county in which the auction is being conducted (physical site of the items being sold).
