Farmer Auctions is pleased to present the combined collections of the Wall Family of Bassett VA. Robert “Doug” Wall was born and resided in Henry County. After retirement, he opened a used car business with an office by his home. This collection includes items from his office as well as advertising pieces for Doug’s cars. His wife Elizabeth “Libbie” Wall (also a Henry county native) enjoyed collecting antiques. Her collection includes crocks, Hall Autumn Leaf serving pieces, and more. Furniture in this collection includes an old jelly cupboard, pie safe, Hoosier cabinet, & solid oak bedroom sets. Their son Robert “Greg” Wall also resided in the house. You will see his influence in his love for NASCAR and boating, and his beautiful Chevrolet Corvette. We hope you enjoy browsing through the antiques this home presents as well as the local pieces.
