Soft closing of lots starts with Lot # 1 at specified closing time. Soft Close extends the bidding time for a specific item if a bid is placed in the last minute of the auction. When a bid is placed during the soft close window, the bidding time for "THAT ITEM" is extended to allow other bidders a fair chance to counter-bid. Other "lots" will continue the closing sequence unless there is a last minute bid on that lot.
