Welcome to our 2-day Collectors Auction. Day 2 of the Collectors Auction presents a diverse array of Asian arts, decorative items, furniture, and historical artifacts.

The Asian arts section features a range of Chinese and Japanese porcelain and metalwork, including Qing era Rose Medallion wares, and Meiji era bronze vases. Notable items include cloisonne pieces by renowned artists like Namikawa Yasuyuki and Hayashi Kodenji, Satsuma pottery pieces by Naruse Seishi for Tohaku-en workshop and many others, and a Qing era Chinese Famille Rose porcelain floor vase with foo dog handles and applied chilong dragons.



Decorative items span various periods and styles. Highlights include pottery by Moorcroft and Weller, Lalique and Baccarat crystal pieces, Moravian Tile Works mosaics, textiles such as needlework samplers, and large Lladro sculptures. 



Furniture notable items include a 17th-century Italian Renaissance altar cabinet and a Federal giltwood carved girandole mirror. A collection of tall case clocks, a Black Forest clock, a skeleton clock, and a pillar and scroll by Eli Terry. The auction also presents several Asian and European inspired pieces to include, a continental dower chest, a Venetian Bureau Cabinet, a French vanity, and a Chinese mother-of-pearl inlaid rosewood furniture set. Rounding out the collection are several fine rugs, including a Persian Heriz, Tabriz, as well as chandeliers, and marble pedestals.



Historical items and collectibles form a significant part of the auction. Highlights include Pope and Singer High Wheel bicycles, a Mathews Brothers H16 wood airplane propeller from 1917-19, a collection of early 20th-century advertising tip trays and mirrors, and fabric relics from historic aircraft such as the Wright Brothers' Vin Fiz and the USS Shenandoah airship. Several antique and scientific instruments, including a Trippensee Planetarium and a mid 19th century Franklin globe are also featured. The auction also features several folk art pieces, including a late 19th/early 20th-century carved Statue of Liberty.



This Day 2 auction presents an opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts to acquire unique pieces spanning various categories and eras, from Asian antiquities to American advertising memorabilia and American and European furniture.

Auction is open for pre-bidding until Thursday, July 25th at 10:00 AM, at which time pre-bidding will cease and the auction will go live at the auction center (no live audience, just our auctioneer and auction staff). When the auction goes live, lots will be sold one at a time, in numerical order, by a live auctioneer who will be taking bids from multiple online bidding platforms, absentee and phone bids. During pre-bidding you are able to submit a max (maximum) bid. The bidding platform or our auction staff will bid on your behalf up to the maximum bid that you have entered. Once the auction goes live if you wish to increase your bid you will have to wait until that lot opens for bidding and enter any additional bids manually.
