Marilyn Copeland is an Artist & Teacher from Northern Indiana who is a nationally certified and accredited. She has owned and operated Future Heirlooms Art Gallery/Custom Framing in North Webster, Indiana for the last 18 years. Throughout her 30+ years of teaching she has earned a variety of awards and accomplishments including: • Marilyn attended I.P.F.W, Graduated from Wrights Academy, Battle Creek, MI. 1963 • Accredited Nationally with SDP earning her CDA 1988 • Priscilla Hauser Accredited 1986 • Traditions Artist • Deco Artist Helper with the Americana Paint Company • A traveling Teacher, Bob Ross • Art Link Executive Board Member in 1995 for Whitley County Art Guild • President of Three Rivers Decorative Painters in Fort Wayne in 1989 and Indianapolis Decorative Painters in Indianapolis in 1991-1993 • She has been published in Artist Decorative Painting Magazine, Decorative Tole Painting magazine. Society of Decorative Magazine • Three Rivers Spring Banquet 2009 was honored to have her hand painted trunk picked for the program menu • For 5 years worked with Kay Roberts Home Interiors, Also Star Homes painting in many homes for the Fort Wayne and Warsaw Parade of Homes • Marilyn has won many awards with her artwork in oils, acrylics and watercolors. The Society of Decorative Painters was asked to paint Christmas tree and Easter egg ornaments for President Bush Sr. and Marilyns ornaments were one of many that were chosen.
