REGISTRATION & IDENTIFICATION: At the time of registration, we collect information about you to verify who you are before you can bid. We collect credit card information to ensure that you are a qualified buyer. All bidders must be of legal age to bid. All bidders and others attending this auction agree that they have read and fully understand the terms and agree to be bound thereby. These terms are in addition to all other posted information, if any. Auctioneers reserve the right to reject any or all bids and reserve the right to bid on behalf of an absentee bidder.
PICKUPS & REMOVALS: Any item not picked up during the posted pickup times will be considered an abandoned item. Items are sold as is, where is, with all faults. If you abandon an item, your credit card will be charged for the purchase price of the item plus the cost to remove, transport and dispose the item. Dates and times for pickup will be posted on our website. Do not bid if you are unable to have your items picked up.
PAYING FOR YOUR PURCHASES: There is no cost to register for an auction. Payment is made at pickup (cash, Visa, MasterCard, or debit) or ahead of pickup by e-transfer. Any purchaser who wants their items shipped must pay by e-transfer. E-transfer email is accounting@greatwestteam.com

BUYERS: The BUYER: Expressly agrees to indemnify and save Great West, the Seller, and their assigns harmless from and against all claims, losses, expenses, damage, or liability, directly or indirectly caused by or resulting from an act, including the negligent acts or omissions of Great West , or anyone acting in his/her behalf in connection with or arising out of auction. All bidders/buyers must be of legal age.
RESERVE: Seldom are items sold with Reserve. If an item is being sold with a reserve, it will be clearly marked and identified. For items sold with a 'reserve', you will be required to pay a minimum amount in order to win the item.
AUCTION RECORDS: In the unlikely event of a dispute, you agree to accept as true the information that we have in our records.
CATALOGUE ERRORS & OMISSIONS: If a description does not match a picture in a lot, the description takes precedence. All items are sold on an (as is) where is basis, with all faults. Note: Sizes are approximate and not guaranteed to be exact.
SHIPPING: All shipping and handling costs are the responsibility of the winning bidder. Items that are taken to a 3rd party shipper, Spark Business Solutions, Sarnia (519-542-7877). Great West Auction Company will charge $5 to $35 to deliver to third party shipper. Any shipping disputes need to be handled with the shipping company. If a dispute arises and an item is being returned, the cost of shipping is the responsibility of the winning bidder. Any purchaser who wants their items shipped must pay by e-transfer. E-transfer email is accounting@greatwestteam.com Coins and Currency is uninsurable through the shipping systems. By registering and agreeing to the terms for this online auction. You are accepting the risk for having the coins and currency shipped (if you are requiring shipping).
GUNS & GUN RELATED ITEMS: Winning Bidder Must Produce Valid Pal Ontario Issued Photo License at Pickup. Name on PAL must match name on invoice. If you cannot produce a valid PAL for pickup, you will still be obligated to pay for any items you bid on that require the license but will not be allowed to remove the items. All gun and gun related items including those that require a PAL must be picked up in person. There will be no shipping offered on gun or gun related items. If you purchase a gun and/ or gun related item(s) and expect it to be shipped, you will still be obligated to pay for the item(s) and will not get it shipped. Item(s) will be forfeited and become Great West Property.
OFF-SITE AUCTIONS: Off-site auctions are all auctions not held at the Great West Auction Building, 4066 Brigden Road, Petrolia, ON. All items must be picked up for off-site auctions. Failure to pickup will result in removal fees and it will become property of Great West.
