Consignment Online Auction Terms and Conditions: ~WHEN YOU REGISTER FOR THIS AUCTION YOU ARE AGREEING TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITONS. ~There is a small buyers fee for process and handling expenses. ~The credit card you use for registration will be charged for your winning bids following the auction. ~Please contact us if you need to use a different form of payment than you registered with. ~Unless you present a sales tax exemption form before auction closes, a 6% State Sales tax will be applied to all sales. ~Credit card chargeback's will not be accepted. ~All your items should be picked up at your scheduled appointment. If needed, you will have to bring your own packing supplies and moving helpers and equipment. ~If you need to have your items shipped, please let us know before close of bidding. You are responsible for all packing, shipping and insurance costs. We will make every effort to find the best shipping rates available. ~ If you don't pick-up your purchases Or if you don't make arrangements for pick-up Or shipping, your purchases will be disposed of Or resold at our discretion. You Forfeit Your Rights To These Items, Even Though You Have Already Been Charged. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE! ~By placing a bid, bidder signifies that they have examined the items to their satisfaction, or that they have chosen not to personally examine them. All property is sold AS IS, and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, authenticity, value or any other determinative factor. In no event shall OLD SCHOOL TRADING CO. be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. We encourage attending Or scheduling inspections before bidding. ~Online Auctions are timed events and all bidding will begin to close at specified times. Old School Trading Co. Online Auctions feature a Soft Close. The Soft Close feature remains active until no further bids are received on an item within the two minute closing window. When a bid is placed in the final two minutes of an item closing, the auction bidding will automatically be extended two minutes from the time the bid was placed. For Example: If an auction is scheduled to begin closing lots at 6:00PM and a bid is received at 5:59PM, the close time on that lot will automatically extend two minutes. The first item for the current auction is scheduled to close at 6:00PM CST on the Wednsday listed in description. Items will close every 30 seconds there after unless there is still active bidding on said item, in which case that specific items closing time will be extended the two minutes until all active bidding has ended. For Example: The second item will schedule to close at 6:00:50, the third item closes 50 sec after that and so on and so forth until all items have closed. ~Bidder agrees that this agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Michigan and hereby grants sole jurisdiction and agrees to submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of a court of subject matter jurisdiction located in Menominee County, Michigan. Bidder agrees and grants that service of process on them may be obtained by mailing a certified letter, containing a summons, postage prepaid, to them at the address they provided to register. Should a dispute arise between Old School Trading Co. and Bidder, Bidder waives any right to a trial or hearing in a court of law and agrees to settle the dispute through binding arbitration in Menominee County, Michigan. ~Bidders who bid from offsite understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person. Old School Trading Co. will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise unless it is a material and intentional misrepresentation of the item itself. Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is and that they may not return any item they purchase. ~There may be reserves on lots that are set by the seller and will not be stated in discription. If the reserve is not met by bidders, but is close, Old School Trading Co. can choose to work with seller and last highest bidder to reach an agreement on price to make the sale. ~Old School Trading Co.is providing Internet bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the days of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Old School Trading Co. or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the auction. ~Old School Trading Co. will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. ~Old School Trading Co. reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction. ~Buyers may be required to pay any applicable state and local sales tax unless you have a resale number on file with Old School Trading Co. PRIOR TO THE SALE-NO EXCEPTIONS. Welcome to this weeks On-line 1st Dibs Auction for Old School Trading Co! ALL LOTS ARE UPLOADED! This sale will be a little different than my traditional Estate or Downsizing auctions, and I will hold a new one every Wednesday night if an Estate Sale is not scheduled! I still have some consignments and rooms full of boxes that I am trying to unpack, and you will be offered these items here first! There will be quite an assortment of VINTAGE household, HUNTING, tools, HAEGER, toys, STAMPS, books, COINS, some clothes and accessories, food, jewelry, art, furniture (some repurposed), collectables, albums, glassware, NFL & BASEBALL CARDS, furniture, TRAINS, and so many more different items each week! They will run somewhat simular to e-bay, some might have a starting bid, some might offer a 'buy it now' option with NO BUYERS FEE, and if it doesn't sell the first ime, you might see it relisted. One of the things that is better than e-bay, is that the timer on each lot will add 2 minutes to the clock everytime someone bids so that everyone gets a fair chance! You can put your max bids in ahead of time of course, and 'Live' bidding starts at 7PM sharp as lots start to close out. Most lots can be shipped to 'out of towners' and locals can pick up at my shop located at 1638 10th Ave. Menominee. Some lots might need to be picked up at the consigners address, but that will be noted in description. Items not sold will then be put out on the store floor and possibly relisted at a later date!
