AUCTION TERMS & CONDITIONS
-There will be a 20% Buyers Premium charged on top of the hammer price. The state of Virginia requires us to collect 5.3% sales tax.
-We only accept Virginia tax exemption numbers for purchases over $200. No Out of State tax exemption numbers will be accepted, as under VA law. (Unless an accurately completed Virginia Resale Tax Exemption Form is submitted).
-Items with more than Quantity of 1, are TIMES THE MONEY. Every item being sold "As Is Where Is" with no guarantee of any kind. All Sales are final.
*** Unless otherwise stated, NO items have been authenticated by brand or maker. Bidder is responsible for authenticating via pictures, or coming to our office for in person preview.

-Upon registration, the Bidder warrants that they are of legal age in their country and have read and understood all of the following terms and conditions listed above and below, which apply to all auctions conducted by us and any Bidders/Buyers in said auctions.
-All sales are final. All items are sold "as is-where is" with all faults and blemishes and no warranty expressed or implied. Bidders are encouraged to preview and inspect all items. It is bidder's responsibility to determine condition, value, usefulness, functionality, authenticity, and all other factors. GITIES AUCTIONS is not responsible for errors of description. Bidder, including internet bidder, shall be the sole judge of value. We have a strict "no charge back" after the transaction is complete policy.
-It is the bidders responsibility to pay for shipment, even if an item weighs more or is larger than the bidder assumed. Ask any questions about shipping and items prior to bidding. The buyer is 100% resposible for the shipping costs.
-If a Bidder has a poor HiBid Bidder Score, we will not accept them into our auctions.
-Any successful high bidders who back out of a bid, will be banned from all our future auctions and will be given a poor bidder rating. This rating could effect a bidders ability to register in bids with other auction companies across HiBid and other auction websites. The same will be done to all non-paying customers.

-We accept consignments as they are given to us. We assume that box contents are what is listed on the box. We make no guarantees that lots are described in perfect accuracy, We take every effort to accurately describe all items offered in its sales, We do not provide warranty for labor and craftsmanship on jewelry and watches. We have knowledgeable staff to provide as accurate description as possible using the knowledge of our staff. ** Returns are not accepted; ALL SALES ARE FINAL. By placing a bid, the bidder/buyer has signified that the description of the item(s) in question is satisfactory and will not be entitled to make any objections after the sale.

-Shipping Fee Applies! We are using USPS Flat rate boxes as our default shipping method. If your purchases do not fit into a flat rate box, we will have to charge by weight/dimension of your box (using the USPS website for rate costs). We ship from King George, VA 22485. There is a Shipping & Handling fee based We will always ship as cost effective as possible.
-Please keep shipping costs in mind, as you bid. The day following the auction, we gather invoices for people who will require shipping (based on the address they register with.) We pack the items, weigh and measure the box to calculate the shipping cost. ***WE WILL CHARGE YOUR CREDIT CARD ON FILE, AUTOMATICALLY.***

If you are in the local KING GEORGE/COLONIAL BEACH area, but prefer to have your items shipped - Let us Know ASAP that you require Shipping. If you are out of the area and would like to pick up your items also let us know ASAP as we begin packing & shipping as quickly as possible.
SOFT CLOSE POLICY
(Where applicable-INTERNET ONLY AUCTION. Does not apply to Live w/Internet Bidding) In the event that a bid is placed on an item in the final minutes of an auction sale, the auction will automatically be extended for an additional amount of time to prevent 'auction sniping'. The extension will continue until all the bids have stopped.
