In the spirit of warmer weather, we present our Nautical auction, featuring a fabulous LIFETIME collection of EAPG Whale oil lamps and glass sets by famous makers such as Boston and Sandwich, McKee, Bryce Bros, etc:. Whale oil was common in lamps from 1820s-1910s, after which the introduction of kerosene rendered whale oil obsolete with the dangers of whaling, and the cheap price of kerosene. We have a collection of tools that would have been in a shipwright's tool chest, themed art and ivory, a foghorn from the White Alice, a USCG signal buoy light, and so much more.
