Building History and Synopsis of Building Use:

The school began its service as a high school for the Britton’s Neck community. The original building was enlarged twice, with the most recent addition being the gymnasium on the west end of the structure. In 2002, when the conversion was made from a high school to an elementary school, a renovation and additions were undertaken. Toilet rooms were added to classrooms for younger children and a new roof (low slope metal standing seam) was added to the old building. The district underwent a reconfiguration of school sites in the fall of 2018. The building has been vacant since September 2018.
