We are delighted that you are interested in our auctions and appreciate your business! We downsize and liquidate property throughout the entire Baltimore Metro area. We have sales, both traditional in-person estate sales and online auctions nearly every week of the year. If you are bidding on one of our online auctions, please make sure you can comply with our policies below. Don't risk losing your bidding privileges! It is important that buyers pay for items AND pick them up. If bidders do not comply with the policies below, they risk deactivation of their bidding account, which affects their ability to bid on all Caring Transitions auctions throughout the country. Can’t pick up your item on the designated pickup day and time? Alternate pickup MAY be available, if arranged by 4 pm on Friday. The alternate pickup fee is $20, payable in cash to the staffer who meets the bidder. Paid for your item, but no longer want it? If a bidder does not pick up an item they have paid for because they choose to forfeit the item, we will charge a disposal fee of $10 per lot for small lots and $20 per furniture lot. We reserve the right to deactivate a bidder’s account if this privilege is abused. Having your item shipped? Please make sure we know you want your item shipped by emailing baltimoresales@caringtransitions.com. We assume that out of state buyers will have their items shipped and a $10 handling fee will be added to their invoice. We use a third-party shipper, EZ Parcel (Tom Breen: ezparcel@aol.com; (410) 284-2000) to ship all of the items. We take items to the shipper early in the week after the auction ends. Invoice and handling fee must be pre-paid before being taken to the shipper. Non-payment results in automatic deactivation of the bidder’s account. Questions?
