This is an online auction benefiting Pendleton Senior and Family Services Inc in Franklin WV. Proceeds will go to directly support programs such as nutrition and medical transportation assistance for low income seniors citizens and disabled individuals in Pendleton County WV.  The items being sold were created by local artists for an art contest and made from wood pallets. Bidding will close at 7 PM December 12, 2023.

Pendleton Senior and Family Services receives community food box items each month and they come on wood pallets.  Rather than discarding the pallets, they came up with the idea of a fundraiser in which they would challenge local artists to create original works of art using the pallets. Eight works of art were created. The first part of the fundraiser had the community voting for their favorite art object by dropping money into jars for each item. The one with the most money in the jar was declared the winner and artist received prizes donated by local businesses. For the second part of the fundraiser we are offering these works of art at auction and all the proceeds will go directly to Pendleton Senior and Family Services. We also have buy it now donation only items if you wish to make a direct donation.

Preview, Shipping, and Pickup Information:

This is an online only auction which will begin to close on December 12 at 7:00 PM and will close at the rate of 1 lot per minute with a 1 minute auto extend. That means if a bid is placed within the last minute for any lot the time for that lot will be extended for one more minute.

Preview for this auction will be at 231 Mill Rd, Franklin WV 26807 from 9 AM to 4 PM Mon-Fri.

Pickup is at the same location December 13-15 9 AM - 4 PM.

Shipping is available for SOME items in this auction. There will be a note in the description for each item that we will NOT ship. Shipping will be at the purchasers expense through either USPS or UPS.  Delivery may also be available up to on hour away from Franklin WV.  Please contact Pendleton Senior and Family Services with questions about shipping or delivery.

Terms of the Sale:

Buyers Premium and Sales Tax: There is no buyers premium and no sales tax for this auction.  All proceeds will go directly to Pendleton Senior and Family Services.

Merchandise: All Items Are Sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT GUARANTEE. We urge you to examine all items carefully and satisfy yourself as to the condition and bid accordingly. We will not be accepting returns or providing refunds.

Payment: Cash, Credit Card (4% Fee Applies), and Good Check are approved methods of payment. This online only auction will require bidders to enter a valid credit card in order to register to bid. When registering to bid, the credit card will be checked for available credit of $1 but the card will not be charged. At the end of the auction all successful bidders will receive an invoice via email and payment can be made online or in person when picking up your item. If payment arrangements are not made by the end of the pickup period then the credit card used for authorization purposes at the time of registration will be charged. All payments whether cash, check, or card must be made before any items are removed from the property.
