Features: Barge style, self floating lake weed cutter with conveyor system. Hydraulically driven motors on paddle wheels, full hydraulic cutter head and conveyor system all run from operator station. Engine is a lombardini diesel engine.
Weed harvester was previously used by the city to cut weeds in the city’s lake. Weed harvester has been sitting in outside storage for the last two years and has not been started or used since. Harvester was operational when put into storage. All hydraulic control valves were replaced in 2017 and the barge hull was sandblasted, repaired, and painted in 2018 to make water tight. Weed harvester is on trailer but trailer is not highway worthy. Unit also comes with an on-shore conveyor system for off-loading weeds. This is a self-propelled conveyor with a gas engine that runs the hydraulics. Conveyor is also not highway worthy to tow.
Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect the harvester and conveyor before bidding.
