Listing Information

Upon his return from the American Civil War, Barrington native, Elisha Locke, used his Civil War Dispensation Funds of $2,500 to purchase Ayer's Lake Farm in 1869.  Since, it has continued to be owned and operated by his descendents for (5) uniterupted generations, spanning over 154 years.

Over (800) lots encompassing 1000s and 1000s of objects will be sold in (1) day featuring New England Country Primitives, Oriental Rugs, Stueben Glass, Gold and Silver Jewelry, Pottery, Native American Arts, Eskimo Wares, Vintage and Antique Toys, Trade Signs, Asian Porcelain, Fine Art and Sculpture, Mid-Century Modern, Rifles, Shotguns and Hand Guns etc etc etc will be dispersed randomly throughout the entire auction.

Lastly, certain rooms of the house, barn and carriage house will be offered as (1) lot where you can bid on "picking rights" which will allow the high bidder to take as many or as few of the items being offerred.
