BIDDING Auction lots will have a staggering ending time starting at 6pm or 7pm EST, depending on the season, with the majority of auctions closing on Mondays and Wednesdays. All of our auctions have soft close times. First lot closes Soft Close on this auction at 6pm or 7pm EST. Stagger time will be 20 seconds to 1 minute depending on the total lot count. Big early and often on the lots you are interested in. Any bids placed in the last two minutes of time remaining will extend the total time. If two bidders place high bids that are the same amount, the FIRST recorded bid becomes the winner. Always make sure you have the high bid before assuming you have purchased an item. Online Only - Wednesday November 1st, 2023 - First lot closes at 7PM Featuring a fine collection of Native American stone, flint, and chert lithic artifacts from multiple consignors. The largest collection was from Central IN and most was found in and around Monroe and surrounding counties. The next collection was from Rossville IL. Other consignors added items including a very fine axe that was found in Crawford Co. IN near the Ohio river in the late 1920's. The auction includes many lots and groups of artifacts in frames and RIker mounts, some excellent individual examples, and a number of hardstone and slate artifacts. The collections were looked at by Davis Artifacts and some key pieces were certified as authentic. We stand behind these items and believe them to be authentic prehistoric artifacts.
