An exciting auction featuring the second part of a lifetime collection of early whale oil and kerosene lighting, toleware, early document boxes, forged iron from trammels to trivets, as well as Canadian stoneware and redware, textiles from early coverlets to catalogne to hooked rugs, very early furniture from Ontario and Quebec, the Maritimes and the US in original paint, also some refinished furniture, and another private collection from Quebec containing some of Canada's most celebrated folk artists like Ewald Rentz, Philippe Roy, Wilfred Richard, Colins Eisenhauer, and Marie Cecile Bouchard, as well as Indigenous art, splint baskets, and crooked knives.
