The boat features a cold molded construction method using Meranti marine grade plywood and MAS epoxy. The stringers, ribbands and framing are constructed of Douglas Fir. All bulkheads and internal frames are ¾” Meranti marine grade plywood. The hull was glassed with 12oz. biaxial fiberglass and epoxy and the deck was sheathed in Xynole and epoxy. The toe rail and cockpit are constructed of Teak.
This boat was made by the students of the wooden boat building program here at Cape Fear Community College. Boat is sold as is and no trailer, so buyer is responsible for their own trailer prior to pickup. Pickup will be at our Downtown Campus location.
