Pork Sale Benefit: Help us close out the summer with a BANG!!!
At 7 p.m., we will be selling the pig purchased at the York County 4-H Livestock Auction. The pig was raised by Dalton Brown. Dalton will be at the auction to hand out to buyers. What Dalton does not know...we are donating all proceeds from the sale of the pig. At the request of the family, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Camp Lionheart - a camp specifically designed for kids, ages 12-18, living with heart disease. Dalton was born with no pulmonary aortic valve. He has had several open heart surgeries in his 17 years of life with many more to go. WAGS BROS MEAT, in Dover, has donated processing and packaging of all cuts - ham, bacon, chops, ribs, and several flavors of sausage.
