  1 LOT OF HARRIS RADIOS, 800 MHz, PORTABLE, VEHICLE MOUNTED AND BASE STATION. SOME ARE USED AND SOME STILL IN ORGINAL FACTORY BOXES. SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS. These radios are no longer useable to the City of Mobile, we have switched to a different brand of radio within our Communications District.

An approximate listing is attached in the " Additional Info" below this section.

Most of the portables are used, some may still be in box. Radios may or may not have a battery ( City will not provide a battery). What batteries are there may not be any good. These radios have not been used in the last 3 years.

The Mobiles are listed as front mounted and overall have never been out of the box, never mounted and never used.

There are what appear to be base stations appear to never have been used and still in factor boxes.

All radios are already on pallets, the City will not prepare or wrap for shipping. City will load on a truck with a forklift if need be, but WE WILL NOT WRAP FOR SHIPPING NOR WILL WE ARRANGE FOR THE SHIPPING.

Loading with a forklift will have to be scheduled, normally no forklift at this location.

THESE ITEMS ARE NOT AT THE 770 GAYLE STREET LOCATION. SITE VISIT MUST BE PRE PLANNED OR SCHEDULES SO THAT AN EMPLOYEE CAN BE AT THE LOCATION WHERE THE RADIOS ARE STORED. VIEWING CAN ONLY BE SCHEDULED ON THE WEDNESDAY VIEWING WINDOWS AS STATED BELOW.

Any items other than radios and their pallets viewed in the photos, are not included in this auction.

Buyer is responsible to remove from City of Mobile property.

Quantities are an estimate to what we can see, the actual quantities may vary..

Potential Bidders will not be allowed to open any boxes that are unopened, nor are the Bidders allowed to run any tests on any of the radios.

***With COVID Virus safety in mind for the Public and City Employees, All Inspections and Removals will be done with Social Distancing and Safety being observed. Wearing of protective mask while on City Property is REQUIRED.***

NOTE: City of Mobile will no longer answer questions about items on auction by phone. All questions shall be sent in writing to purchasing@cityofmobile.org and we will give an emailed response. The City will answer no questions within 12 hours of the close of an auction on an item.

The City of Mobile will only place the name of the Buyer or Name of the Company and address that appears on the GOVDEALS Auction Award Notice on the Title and Bill of Sale given to the winner of the auction.. The City of Mobile will not place any other name on the title or the Bill of Sale..
