Bruker AXS D5000 XRD System with VANTEC 500 Detector and Accessories

The D5000 system includes stand/rack and enclosure; controller; a collection of controller boot drives and disks; goniometer; two Siemens X-ray tubes: one Mo fine focus (Type KFF-Mo-2K90), one Cu long fine focus (Type KFL-Cu-2K); power and interconnect cables (possibly not a complete set).

The detector system includes a collection of seven window screens; 2D/HV controller; PC interface board; interconnect and power cables; and configuration files. Other miscellaneous instrument-specific accessories may be included if available at the time of pickup.

D5000 Machine ID: 3048 (Serial No., 001995)

Detector Serial No.: A110288

Controller Serial No.: A110246 (Model 672-012700)

History: The detector system was purchased in 2017 (as an upgrade to the HI-STAR detector system in use at that time) and used on the Bruker AXS 5000 XRD system platform until about six months ago, when the XRD controller stopped booting. The detector system is believed to be working but was not tested for this listing. The window has several blemishes and a scratch (see photos). The status of the X-ray tubes is unknown – the Mo tube was in use at the time of the controller failure.

Handling precautions: The detector window is beryllium metal, which is hazardous. The detector is carefully packaged and stored to minimize dust.
