Terms for online auctions for Caplan's Auction. By accepting the Terms & Conditions you acknowledge you are entering into a legal and binding contract. You agree to abide by all terms and conditions set forth. Everything is sold "As Is", "Where Is" with absolutely no expressed or implied warranty whatsoever. Any changes in details of the auction made prior to day of sale take precedence over any previous term. Bidder bears full responsibility for inspecting items prior to bidding. Descriptions, photos and statements made or offered by sellers or auction staff is deemed correct but is not guaranteed. By bidding on the item you have agreed to accept that item in its present condition. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Bids may not be retracted for any reason. Upon registering all bidders are required to give full name, address, phone number and email address. A valid credit card is required to register. Your credit card will be verified, a $1 verification ping will be done to make sure the card is active. The pending $1 charge will fall off in a few days. If you are claiming tax exempt please put the ID number in the notes at registration. Bidder and guests assume all risks with removal day(s). Bidder and guests shall be deemed to be there at their own risk with notice of the condition of the premises, the activities on the premises, and the conduct of the third third parties and the Bidder shall advise his agents and employees Bidder and guests agree to indemnity Caplans Auction of any and all liability regardless of negligence. Once the auction is complete and the Bidder has won the bid, the Bidder is responsible for merchandise and for full and complete payment. Non-payment or fradualent bidding will be subject to legal recourse. Should the Bidder not pay for merchandise, the Bidder shall be responsible for any remaining balance, any collection costs, attorney fees, employee costs and maximum allowable interest and service charges. Buyer will have one week to remove item(s). If they do not do so within one week it is at the discretion of the auction house to allow more time to pick up or regain possesion of the item(s).

Bidding opens at 7:00pm on Wednesday May 17th. Bidding begins to close at 7:00pm on Wednesday May 24th. Lots close every 30 seconds in numerical order unless bidding persists. With each additional bid one minute will be added. There is no in person preview date for this auction. Check out is immediately following the conclusion of the auction using the card provided at check in. If you wish to pay another way you MUSt put that in the notes at registration. Pick up will be on Sunday May 28th from 12:00am-4:00pm at our Historic Savage Mill Auction Gallery. Alternate pick-up dates by appt. Shipping is also available.We are located in The Cotton Shed Building (which is shaped like a grey barn) our doors face the loading dock for easy pick. Please feel free to pull up right in front of our doors. We do NOT provide loading help if you need help bring it with you. We do not ship however we do work with our local UPS store. You may arrange pick up with them directly. They will pick up from our gallery, pack and ship you are subject to their fees.
