Burroughes & Watts Eureka Snooker Table
You are looking at a vintage, original 1902 Burroughes & Watts "Eureka" Snooker Table.
This full-size mahogany snooker table is raised on monumental lobed and turned legs. The paneled side frames are embellished with gadrooned moldings, fan shape carvings and corbel brackets; and the friezes compliment the frame.
The table is fitted with patent Eureka steel Vacuum Cushions. At the four corners and middle of the table there are new webbed pockets with leather trim. The original brass maker’s plaque is fitted to the end of the table.
Some items included with the table are:
• A table cover • Cue rack • Scoreboard • 38 Snooker Balls • A triangle • 4 Cue sticks.
The dimensions are 83 H x 151” W x 150 75” D.
Materials: Mahogany, slate, brass, wool, webbing, leather.
This item was originally appraised for a Fair Market Value of approx $38,000 in December of 2020 by "The Educated Eye Appraisals." The item is now being replaced during a new construction.
