From a professional appraisal from Joseph Troise, "This 1964 Jaguar E-Type Series One 3.8 Coupe is described as a “parts car”, but in fact is perhaps 90% complete, and structurally solid, and would be a better candidate for a full restoration as a “project car” than to be parted out. This vehicle has obviously not been run for decades. Paint and interior are in a deteriorated condition, as is the engine. Interior parts, front bumper and headlights appear to be missing but perhaps can be located. Jaguar E-Type Series I coupes are nearly as valuable as their convertible counterparts, and various “project level” examples are currently offered in the$30,000 to $60,000 range, depending on condition and completeness."
